can I use this curry powder to make a suriname chicken masala?

Not sure what a Suriname masala is but South Africans use this spice a lot with Malay cuisine heritage. I fry chicken thighs, remove & fry onion with the pakco powder and cassia bark. Best home made curry by miles!
