Excellent Fixture
Installed this 24" model. The light is 3,000 Kelvin. Nice brightness. There is an on/off switch as shown in the picture. Now that it's installed (for about two days) there isn't much more to say about the light. The light is slim enough to fit under the cabinets nicely although in my case, since it's mounted fairly far back, a thicker one probably would have worked fine. The big thing for me was the installation. Everything you need for is included; wire nuts, screws (didn't need); strain relief connector. The mounting holes were in the same spots as the screw holes from the crappy florescent fixture that was there beforehand. I only say that to point out that there is some standardization being considered when manufacturing the body of the fixture. In addition, it's a thin fixture and they have a knockout in the rear-center of the fixture that isn't the usual 3/8" size you normally see in things like electrical boxes. The problem is that some manufacturers don't include a smaller strain relief connector that fits the smaller knockout hole. This manufacturer includes one such connector. The alternative is that you have to use a step-up bit to expand the small hole to fit the 3/8" strain relief connector. I've done that before on other fixtures and if the knock-out isn't perfectly centered, the hole might be too close to the edge of the fixture and then you could have a mess on your hands. Not so with this fixture so that's all good. I'll definitely buy more of these when more the florescent bulbs fail (that are supposed to last X number of years) in my existing fixtures. I'll never buy florescent again. This LED is the way to go.

Great under cabinet LED light! Love it.
This LED lamp was the perfect addition to my condo which did not have any under cabinet lighting. I placed it dead center of the sink, whereu I had a small shelf and no cabinet of course), drilled 2 holes, bought a nice 3 wire black extension cord, hooked the light up and tucked the cord in neatly, securing it with wire staples from the hardware store. The light is PERFECT in the evening and at light to light up the kitchen counter and floor while not disturbing the living room connected to it. The overhead lights were too much, the microwave lights wayyyy too dim, this one is perfect and the correct Kelvin color for the evening. Not a blue white that I use overhead to cook and cut with. If your remotely handy this LED light is a quick install and priced right. Iโm probably buying a couple more for my laundry area and other areas like a closet. The extension cord idea makes the light go where you need it, if you donโt permanently mount it. Plus no junction box work either. So add $10 to the price of it for the extension cord and wire staples. That will be your total expense. Built in switch is exactly what I needed also. I control it alone. Bright enough to do dishes and make a drink, but low enough to not disturb my movie nights. A+++

Very nice, somewhat flimsy
For the per unit price these are an excellent value but leave something to be desired. That said, if I needed additional under cabinet lighting Iโd probably purchase these again. Installing was fairly simple but the knockouts are pretty small for direct wire. Virtually impossible to run the wires from the wall though a single knockout so I ended up running the hot and ground wires through one and the neutral through the adjacent knockout. The material are pretty flimsy but since they are hidden doesnโt matter much. The 12โ has the perfect amount of light and the wife was happyโฆ.until she found the next project

Surprisingly good light bars
I replaced existing fluorescent under cabinet lights with five of these in various sizes. While a Romex connector is included I just reused the ones I had and migrated them over to one of the knockouts in the back of the case. As luck woud have it, my supply wire locations coming out of the walls pretty much lined up with a knockout hole so I could mount the new lights nearly where they ideally needed to be on center. It turned out it didn't matter much. These fixtures throw off a ton of light out from the ends, as well as everywhere else, so you're not going to notice many shadows. I used a Lutron Diva LED dimmer and it gives full range control. Set at the halfway point, the lights are as bright as the ones they replaced. 3000k in a kitchen is a nice soft working color. It's not dingy anymore - no more dead spots where fluorescent bulbs met end-on-end. I like them and I'm going to use them on the cabinet tops as well. Be mindful these are hardwired so some basic electrical skill is necessary.

Good value for an LED
Easy to install especially since I was just replacing a burned out halogen light. Good quality and price.

Well-made bright under counter lights
I bought five of these lights to replace our existing xenon lights which generated a lot of heat and most had burned out. I was pleased to find that these LED lights are well made, not difficult to install and put out a LOT of light (1,200 Lumens). The instructions were good and straightforward although I reversed steps 3 & 4 to feed the electrical supply wires through the fixture first before securing it to the bottom of the cabinet. Securing it to the cabinet first would not allow for room to feed the wires. Also it would have been nice if two more knockouts had been provided in the back (between the center and end knockouts). However, I was able to make do so this was not a big issue. I would suggest installing a dimmer switch because at full power they put out so much light that it's a bit overpowering. I installed a dimmer and adjusted it down to about 50% power and now it's just right and looks great! Would definitely recommend these lights which I thought were a real bargain.

Great bright warm 3000K lamp for over the kitchen sink - easy replacement install
Here how to install. Just follow the instructions in the new LED package. Turn off the circuit breaker for the old tube fat bulb lamp. Took down the ancient fat bulb 18 inch tube lamp. Take the bulb out, than two screws to get the cover off, than two screws to release the base from the ceiling area, and than take off the three wire nuts, hot, neutral and ground. Pop out one of the wire ports on the LED base, the closest to your wire source, put up the LED base with two screws, I used four because I was on just thin paneling, pull the three wires through the wire port, attach the color to color matches, and the ground wire with three new wire nuts, pop the LED base back on, pop on the LED lens cover, check that all is correct, and go turn the circuit breaker back on, and turn the toggle switch on the LED to ON position and GREAT LIGHT. Took about 45 min with all the gathering of materials, tools, figuring out the correct breaker. Popping off the LED base and LED lens cover is easy after one does it, just follow the included paper directions about where and what to press, just have to use some firm pressure to pop off.

Wrong size of Bolt
The BOLT for the "Cable Connector" did not fit the connector, that was with the unit. The light is more on the"Pinkish" side of colour, than warm. The installation was a challenge to put back together and have the wires tucked in neatly, but we got it done...
