Love the large size, the softness, the patterns. It is a heavier weight flannel, so very cosy. Not for a hot day, though. In NY it’s a great 9 month a year item, although we used them inside for a newborn who was born in June, due to air conditioning. Bought one and was so happy I then bought more. And have given as a gift. Washes very well.

I love this winter swaddle! I mostly use it as a blanket for the car seat, or swaddling the lower half of my son (he hates not being able to move his arms, and is a swaddle escape artist). I love that it is soft like a receiving blanket, but a much more usable size (as my son grows, the flannel receiving blankets are being used more as burp cloths than anything else, as they don’t stay around his legs - he’s 5 weeks/11 lbs).

These are lovely, soft, and washed and dried beautifully. They are just as shown in the photo with little dots. Well sewn. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful - but I think these will last longer than we need them.

Love this swaddle blanket so much! It’s actually my favorite. Perfect size to wrap baby up and cozy as well. There is a beautiful detailed on the edges of the blanket that I missed when I purchased the blanket but saw in person. Would highly recommend as a warmer option swaddle.

A nice,large quality blanket.What I did not expect was the heavy weight of the blanket. I thought I was purchasing an X large receiving blanket. This blanket is a heavier weight than your average receiving blanket. Not necessarily bad but we purchased it for the size. Baby is often over heated and the heavy weight of this blanket is too much. We will keep it for winter but would not have not purchased it otherwise because of the weight . It is also not as soft, perhaps because of the weight.

These are great for swaddling baby. My favorite swaddle by far. They are huge and warm. The flannel material they use is so soft!

This swaddle was a lot thicker than I thought it would be which is nice. This seems perfect for colder months I live in Texas so this is a little too thick. May be around winter time (gets low 40s) it'll be perfect.
