Raincoat works like new again!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this stuff was awesome. I’ve had the same Columbia raincoat for years and it was letting water soak through. I used this product and water beads up and runs right off again! Maybe even better than new. A little expensive but much cheaper than a new rain jacket and you get enough to do multiple items. Might do my tents and dry bags too!

Very good repellency & durability. Especially if you can use medium heat, & clean your washer first.
This is a great replacement or add on DWR for most materials. You do need to clean the garment or bag first, with a couple extra rinses and maybe a couple more rinses. Not so much to rinse the garment, but to make sure that there isn't any detergent (especially this) or soap residue in the washer. Any detergent will drastically reduce the effectiveness of any and every DWR or breathable fabric no matter who makes it, where it was made, or what it's on. It has to do with the weakening of surface tension and allowing water to pass through areas it's normally not able to.Anyway, throroughly rinse. Run this through a soak cycle and a higher soil setting (longer agitation), and a single rinse with a low water level if your machine allows that. Ideally you can dry the item(s) on medium as this will make it bond better to the item and it will last longer. Low works but not as well, and if you can't use the dryer at all air drying works, it's just not as long lasting.

Pretty good, not great.
Not sure this makes clothes as water repellent as factory solutions, but it does create some water repellency. Probably better for refreshing dwr instead of making new clothes water repellent.

Worked perfectly
I had 2 name brand rain jackets that were merely windbreakers at this point, repelling zero rain. I followed the directions, soaked in a bucket in the tub instead of the washer since I can’t turn off the rinse function and they came out of the dryer completely waterproofed with no residue on the dryer or jackets. Saved me from spending money on a new jacket and saved otherwise perfectly fine clothing from wasting away in the back of my closet or landfill.

Waterproofing product
These product doest coat the jacket enough for it to be waterproof. Regardless of the directions. Im woundering if it works at all.

WOW!
This stuff is magic! I needed to rejuvenate some DryPlus rain gear that's about 25 years old. After a prewash, I figured soaking would be best and followed the directions on the bottle. I used the washer but did not rinse, just drain and spin after it soaked for about 15 min in warm water. I used 3 oz figuring I'd get 3 uses from the 10 oz bottle. Then, I dried it on low heat in the dryer. After removing the coat and pants, I tested them in the sink and the water beaded up and rolled off like it was brand new. I am beyond impressed! Hopefully this treatment will last a few years, but I have 2 more applications left if needed. I am beyond amazed at how well this stuff worked. đź’Ş

Would not buy again
Absolutely useless. I followed the directions exactly and it was a waste of money and time. Just buy a new rain jacket and save yourself tye aggravation.

Works good if follow directions
I work outside in pacific north west that means it’s rainy a lot! This stuff will make your rain gear work like new or better than new. I fill wash machine with warm water add appropriate amount of product respective to water level and number of garments. Put product in and let the wash cycle do its thing but pay attention when it’s done and spins out you don’t want the washer to fill for rinse with garments in there. I find it works best if don’t try to do too much at once. I put my XL jacket and bibs in and that’s plenty. You want the garment to move around and agitate good. Put in dryer and let the product “set”Water beads off and gear stays breathable witch if you spend a lot of time in rain gear and are active it needs to breathe other wise you’ll feel like you weren’t wearing rain gear at all cause youll be soaking wet with sweat! Add cold to that and you’re miserable all day! This product keeps me dry and warm inside my rain gear.
