Mad Catz Sims 3 Illuminated Mouse for PC

I love my mouse. I was a bit skeptical at first because I don't generally like things made by madcats, but so far it's great. When I plugged my mouse in it quickly installed the driver and illuminated. I later realized i had to go on the madcatz website to download another driver in order for it to work with the sims games. A bit of a hassle but it was easily done, and you only have to do it once so when it's done it's done. The colors are bright and clear, the mouse moves fast (no lagging), and it's cute. This is a great toy for any Sims fan. I tried it in game, and it works great. I found myself making my sim have a bad mood just so it would turn red. The only thing I will have to get used to is the size. It fits great in my hand, but I generally like tiny mice. This one is fairly large but not completely uncomfortable. I definitely recommend trying this one out! ~Princess Kayla~

I'm a Sims fanatic,and when I saw this mouse,I had to have it! It came in a timely manner,and as soon as you plug it in it immediately starts glowing. It was unfortunate that I had to download something to get it to work in the game,but it didnt take long to install it.This mouse DOES work in the game,I actually found myself not taking care of my Sims needs just so it would turn red/yellow! The only downside is that its a really big mouse,and I have small hands.It wasn't really a big deal to me though,didn't bother me much. I recommend this product to any sims fan!

I'm not having too great of an experience with my mouse. I bought it with high hopes that were soon dashed. The mouse itself is beautiful with clear bright colors. However, I can't get my colors to change reflecting my sims mood. I have installed the driver from madcatz website and it still doesn't work properly. I've been able to get it to change ONCE with my sims mood. I even checked to make sure that my usb were 2.0. I've been using this mouse for a while now and I love it. I think one of the thinkgs people don't realise (I definately didn't) is that the mouse doesn't turn red when your character face icon turns red...it turns red when ur happiness bar turns red. Mine wasn't turning because even though my sims were miserable they still had a full hapiness bar. 11/15/12

It's nice and pretty! Still works after years and it's a nice addition to a relaxing session of the sims!

I love the sims, and this mouse just adds to the atmosphere when playing the game. It also helps you to realise the Sims mood when you get caught up not looking at their plumbob. The light is very pleasant and it works a treat. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I love this mouse! It lights up and when not playing The Sims it cycles through the colors. The only downside is that it's fairly large, like man hands large. It's not too large to use but I feel like they could have made it a bit smaller and not have lost any of the awesome. I am glad that I did not buy this to use as a primary mouse, simply because it's a little too big to fit in my hand comfortably. (I feel that my hands are about average size for a girl, and it's not overly huge, just very wide.)

It's a nice mouse, definitely novelty. I just wish you could turn off the bright colors when you aren't playing The Sims. Makes it hard to sleep!

I picked this up as a gift for my sweet Girlfriend one Christmas. She sure was excited! It works, changing colors based on your sims mood. It's cool to bring a little bit of the game into reality. The mouse is stylish with a SIMs diamond in the middle, which illuminates. Just as described. I recommend this to all who play the SIMs3. It is unfortunate how they do not make more interactive technology such as this.

This Sims 3 themed mouse is relatively large at 11 x 7 cm x 3.5 cm high but it is beautifully made and great to look at. Its white case and white USB lead/plug is a bit Apple decor, but the mouse looks fine with my 18 year old daughters gaming Dell 1745 17" laptop, as there's a bit of silver on both. The Mood Mouse's system requirements are Windows 7, Vista and XP only, so Apple Sims 3 fans will be disappointed. On plugging into the USB2 port the mouse dutifully cycles from green to yellow to red, taking about 20 seconds to slowly fade between each colour. The light is pretty bright and illuminates the scroll wheel as well. The mouse is a standard optical wheel mouse, red LED underneath and a gently clicking wheel that also functions as a third mouse button. The mouse is of very good quality, responsive, and similar to use as the classy Microsoft Intellimouse Optical mice that were my office fave until the expensive wireless Logitech MX mouse came along. So other than the tethered USB2 lead, the MadCatz mouse is a good mouse to use for all PC functions. My daughters love of it however is linked to her fondness for the Sims 3 game. The mouse's diamond LED and background mimics the Sims 3 logo perfectly and once you download the MadCat drivers from the Sims 3 website the mouse becomes the Sims 3 Mood Mouse when the game is running (we had trouble locating the driver on the MadCatz website, but it was on the Sims 3 one). Without the MadCatz driver the mouse will only cycle colours in the Sims 3 game. Set the Sims 3 game running in free will mode and a green LED says a happy Sims character, yellow for warning, your Sim needs attention, and red, move quickly to help your Sim in distress or bring a box of tissues. Leave it red too long and the Grim Reaper gets there first. The colour only reflects the mood of the Sim you have active, but as you click through your Sims the mouse jumps to that Sims mood, so a sudden change in the mouse colour alerts you to your Sim's health, and apparently many a virtual cat has been saved by this mouse already. As soon as the game is off the mouse reverts to 3 colour mood cycling again. My daughter's favourite game, if not her only serious game other than the odd BigFish one, is Sims 3 with all the add-on expansions: medieval, pets, generations, etc.., so this Sims 3 illuminated Mood Mouse is a massive hit with her. We have even bought the Mood Mouse for her Sims 3 obsessed girl friends as well. When it comes to Mood Mice on the laptop, apparently size isn't important, so it's 6* from the young ladies and good value when on offer at around twenty pounds. Two and a half years on the mouse is still running well, although there's no drivers for our daughters new Windows 8 laptop and Sims 4 (so the mouse LED colours just cycle in this case). It's now February 2016 and this USB Sims Mood mouse is still working fine, which is lucky as my daughter still adores it.

J'adore tout simplement, il est top ! Après pour que cela marche dans le jeu il faut télécharger sims 3 mood mouse pour mettre la souris à jour. Et que ça ne fonctionne pas aléatoirement tout cela et noté dans la notice de la souris [...] sur ce site vous choisissez le (système) puis le (produit product ) puis sims 3 mousse en bas de la liste dans la catégorie driver download et après c'est bon la nuit par contre elle ne s'éteint pas, mais sinon ça ne me pose pas problème en tout cas pour moi

Die Maus sieht sehr edel aus und ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Innen drin befindet sich ein Sims Diamant. Sobald man sie an den Pc oder an den Laptop schließt, leuchtet sie rot, grün und gelb auf. Die Farben sind sehr kraftvoll und auch hell :) Sie liegt sehr gut in der Hand und dadurch, dass sie nicht so übertrieben klein im Gegensatz zu den anderen Mäusen ist, spart man sich mögliche Krämpfe in den Fingern nach stundenlangem Sims spielen. Das einzige ärgerliche bei der Maus ist, das MadCatz den Treiber nicht auf CD bereit gestellt hat und somit der Maus beiliegt... Es wird nicht mal erwähnt das ein Treiber benötigt wird, damit die Stimmungen des Sims während dem Spiel auf die Maus übertragen werden.. Diesen muss man sich bislang noch aus dem Internet ziehen. Ich kann die Maus auf jeden Fall allen Sims Fans da draußen empfehlen :)

Alles gut und so wie es sein soll. Funktioniert wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Damit sich im Spiel die Farbe ändert, braucht man zwar einen Treiber, aber den findet man schnell im Internet. Man weiß also worauf man sich einlässt und für jeden Simfan gibt's ne Kaufempfehlung.
