Loving it so far! Even when using it a fair bit the battery will easily last a couple of days. The 4 days would be very doable with limited use. Small things like being able to set alarms and timers without needing my phone on me. Despite the small screen, even using the calculator is very usable. I have thought about getting a smart watch for a long time but finally decided to take the plunge when my old watch broke. My only slight criticism so far is that the Samsung Pay app is quite limited with which banks are supported, there are work arounds but it isn't very straightforward. This is an app issue though, the watch itself is great.

Really like this watch! I have been contemplating buying a smart watch for a few years and finally purchased this one. I have a OnePlus 5T phone and the Samsung Galaxy works seamlessly with it. I haven't used the sleep monitoring function because I charge the watch overnight. The battery is at about 80-85% after a days use so in theory should last at least 3 days without any charging. Had to open a new current account to use Samsung Pay as not all UK banks are supported. Find the screen very clear for reading texts, whatsApp and emails. I have used the watch to take phone calls and the speaker and microphone have been sufficient for the task - very useful when out trekking and the phone is safely in your rucksack. Overall very pleased and I actually feel it's great value to have a superb looking watch (changed to metal strap) with all the smart features for less than £300

I have been using my Samsung Galaxy watch for the last week now. I have read a number of the reviews on here, good and bad. I have to say that I am really pleased with the watch and I have no issues at all - all features work well and mine is linked to my Samsung Galaxy S9+ (I purchased mine through Amazon Marketplace @ £249). I won't revisit any of the really good feedback from other buyers already left on here but I will elaborate on one negative point that I read. One buyer mentioned that it was a United Arab Emirates model and that it wouldn't work with Samsung Pay and they were returning it. When I went to configure Samsung Pay for use the first option is "United Arab Emirates" (confirming that is where the watch is from); if you click OK and then continue to set up your payment cards as normal (I added my 2 HSBC account debt cards), you will get confirmation from your Bank when completed as expected. I have used my watch several times for contactless payment, selecting which card I want to use on my watch before making payment and all works brilliantly. The fact that the model is made for release in UAE appears to have no bearing on the functionality. What I have found is that it is certain banks or credit card companies that are not set up for Samsung Pay - I realised this when I tried to add my Virgin Mastercard. OVERALL - No regrets and really pleased with the purchase.

What a great watch. This is my first time buying a smart watch and the first time using one. After a few days use it's been brilliant. ++If you're a fitness fanatic like me then theres lots of helpful little additions on here to add to your fitness routine ++If you're looking to make phone use a little easier then this is also the watch for you. ++If you are looking for long battery life then this is the best watch on the market as of 2019. ++ incredibly easy and satisfying to use and has all the essentials for a smartwatch that you need even though it lacks a bit of the glitz of an apple operating system --bad points include only spotify and samsung music use -- Misssing apps such as google maps which have replacements but are not as slick --no support for American Express (if you use it) -- Operating system not as sleek as Apples

I like this watch a lot. Its functionality and ease of use are excellent. I've been using an Apple watch for 3 years, albeit a version 1, but the Samsung is less glitchy. Actually the apps are better in my opinion. Availability and variety of watch faces also seems better. The battery life is about 3 days for me, but much better than my Apple which was 1 days if you're lucky. Wait a minute it's also cheaper than the Apple!

Got this watch as a wedding anniversary present was a little worried ordering it off line but it was £60 cheaper, came brand new and it has been better than I thought it would be. Wear it for the gym, recording my gym sessions, also for sleeping and recording my fluid intake and other important things like counting calories. You can upload different watch faces so you never get bored of the same one like a lot of apple watches. I can message while in meeting off it and also take phone calls what is really useful. Best smart watch on the market in my view

The watch itself is fine, but you cannot use the pay function, and Samsung UK will not help you because it is a United Arab Emirates model - meaning the warranty is pointless. Will be returning for a full refund.

Bought at a discount. Great for timekeeping, notifications, heart rate tracking, pedometer. Looks classy and masculine. Battery life of a couple of days paired with smartphone, WiFi turned off, screen not on always on. Too bulky to sleep in. Has to be restarted when it stops tracking heart rate but that's the only problem I've had with it. Excellent purchase!
