My trunk is weak, and in a car, I can easily go forward with a stop. This belt is comfortable and gives you the support to remain seated in the wheelchair without any disruption in the trunk. I love it. I am impressed!

This wheelchair seat belt medical restraint strap is a great option for a person who is in a transport wheelchair. The transport wheelchair that I bought did not have a seat belt and I felt very uncomfortable wheeling my dad around in the chair without being secured. The thought of him just falling out of the chair really made me feel uncomfortable. I think that this strap was a perfect choice for him. He is about 168 lbs and it fit around his chest perfectly and it really holds him up nicely. We use this belt every time he uses the transport wheelchair and its really one less thing that I have to worry about because he is safely buckled in.

I am always pleasantly surprised when a product made for wheelchair users actually works! I'm sure that whoever made this product either knows somebody in a wheelchair or actually used one to design the product. I have a handicap van and there are straps to tie down the wheelchair but I don't have one to actually strap me in my seat. This belt works perfectly! It is easy to use, even my grandchildren can buckle me in, and it's semi comfortable, which is actually a huge compliment because not many accessories for wheelchairs are comfortable. All this, and the price is very reasonable! Kudos!

Our wheelchair did come with a seat belt but this one is a bit sturdier.

Not long enough

I purchased this wheelchair seat belt for my sister who set in a wheelchair and had an accident a year ago. Just after a few days her comfort from the trauma seems to be disappearing and she's sitting comfortable in her chair with her double belted protection from this double belted wheelchair belt.

Harness came without instructions as to how to fasten to chair. After a couple trial and errors I was able to fasten to chair with the straps tighten up securely. I've left a little slack in the in the front to allow me to bend forward.
