Tasty, High Protein, Healthy, and Convenient
Tasty and convenient—perfect for a quick meal. I love that they’re healthy, made with clean ingredients and provides 16g of protein, and lower in sodium than most products in convenient cups. They’re definitely worth the price for how easy and satisfying they are.

Great ready to eat delicious low sodium meal perfect for lunch and also travel!
Ordered the variety pack. All were great, but Masala and Sprouted Mung were my favorite. I loved the convenience of having portion sized in a cup. Have always been reluctant in trying anything in a cup because my concern has always been the high sodium. These are an absolute exception. All range between 250-290 mgs of sodium and super low in fat. The khichdi as a meal is so filling and at the same time feels super light on your stomach. I plan to stock this specially for my office lunch. You just need to add hot water which you can get from the water fountain and don’t even need to worry about a spoon! Its all nicely packed in there. The khichdis are a delicious and healthy option for a nutritious guilt free filling meal. I actually got a side of a cup of yogurt upon a friend’s suggestion. It goes very well with plain yogurt and bumps up the protein also. I found the Sprouted Quinoa slightly mushy, but overall it tasted good. Read up the benefits of sprouting after I actually got the khichdis. Love that added benefit of easy digestion, and better absorption of nutrients and enhanced vitamins due to sprouting.Overall a great product and a must have for anyone who cares for nutritious and tasty lunch for your crazy working days!

Yummy
These are good. Not too spicy (I often have to add beans or rice to dilute Indian food and keep it from hurting me, but these are nice and mild, so I can eat them without adding anything). They give you a nice amount that's about right for a snack or part of a meal (about 2 cups worth). I add a bit more water to mine than they suggest and I do it in the microwave (just heat the water for a minute then let it sit the 7 minutes they suggest). It works really well. This is very lightly salted, which I like. It's much better to add salt if you need more than try to dilute it.Quinoa Lentil: yummy. Mostly tastes like mashed potatoes but you get nice bits of lentils, carrots, and such. I can't really taste the cilantro and that's a good thing. There was one thing in there that tasted really bitter, but there was only like 2 pieces (maybe the cilantro?).Millet and Lentil: This one was a bit beanie tasting, but the kitchari flavor was predominant (not sure how to describe it). I couldn't really place the flavor of the millet but I liked it. I've heard millet is bitter, but this wasn't. There was a leaf of something (cilantro?) in here that was bitter so I didn't eat that part.Masala Rice and Lentil: Tastes a bit like split pea soup (with peas and potatoes), but with an Indian twist.Mung Beans and Rice: Has that distinctive kitchari taste, plus a little subtle potato and green bean flavors. Bits of carrots too. The mung beans aren't sprouted as I expected, they really are just the bean part. I didn't notice much of a flavor, but overall it was a nice meal.

Bad Baby Food?
Not as pictured. The consistency was like baby food with chunks of ? The flavor wasn’t terrible, I couldn’t get past the consistency. Threw them all away - what a waste of money.

Perfect for a tasty and convenient and healthy lunch at work or travel !
I ordered Aahana’s Khichdi in a Combo Pack. I loved each one of it, although its difficult to line my order of preference, here it is. First is Sprouted Mung Beans, Second Masala, and Third is a tie between Quinoa and Millet. Quinoa is slightly mushy (but I like mushy texture, so didn’t mind), and Millet is chewy. I did not find the need to add the spice packet in any except in Millet. It was slightly mild for me. I tried one at home and carried the rest with me at work. It was super convenient and easy with no mess to prepare at all. I just added hot water and let it sit at my desk for 5-10 mins and Voila! My lunch was ready for me. Felt full as well as super light after eating it and could work thorough the day without any kind of after lunch laziness. I plan to order more and keep it in my office for my lunch. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have a convenient, no mess, tasty, healthy and light lunch.

Good...
These are tasty, but honestly I cannot recommend them at this price. They just aren't worth it. I mean, they are over $5.00 each! Just too expensive for what they are.

Tasty and nutritious fast fix
Tasty and met my dietary needs of GF. I am glad to find a quick fix food for my busy work day that is nutritious and flavorful. I am also happy to find some of these do not include tomato as I am allergic to tomatoes, (also allergy to corn and mushrooms). Thank you for creating this product!
