Actually a lot heavier quality than some I've bought at big box stores.

The middle band is wide, about 4.5 inches, which connects to the mop holder. Normally this is only about an inch. The good thing is that is stays stable in the mop holder. The actual length of the mop head is a littler shorter than I thought, the length on each side is about 11 to 12 inches, versus 14 inches that I normally use (but the size I bought was a medium). The mop is super absorbent, and works better than a longer mop head, and is also a little lighter. It has sturdy end bands at both ends of the mop head to keep the mop from pulling apart, especially when laundering in the washing machine. All-in-all, I like it and intend to buy more.

These used to be fuller and actually work well. Now the strands are so thin you cannot mop effectively both absorbing mop water or using on the floor.

The mop is good and works well for me. It is lightweight to hold so that I can mop more easily. I have used it to mop several times to clean up the mess completely on the stairs and living room. This one seems to be made of cotton and it's helpful to pick up the mess with ease and make the floors look brand new, very good!

I really like this mop head. I bought this as a second back up because we have puppies and knew that mopping would triple as a result. This one is sturdy and absorbent. When I trade them out and was them, this one doesn't get tangled. At all! The other mop head I have to untangle every time, this one just comes out as new as it was the day it arrived! LOVE IT!

I've wanted a reusable, washable mop head for some time. I decided to go with this rope mop head after a little research online said rope mop heads were the best, and because I know and trust the Rubbermaid brand. I was still a little skeptical that is would be effective, but I was happily surprised! This mop head took up muddy paw prints in half the time as my old mop, and, with the Rubbermaid Commercial FG758088YEL WaveBreak Side Press Combo bucket, it wrings out dryer than my old mop, which means my floor dries faster, too. I'm using this to clean my house, not in a commercial setting, and I'm really glad I picked the medium size instead of the extra large; the medium is plenty big for my purposes. I'm really happy with this purchase, and would wholeheartedly recommend it!
