Fixed my buzzing door lock.
Works perfectly! I called the local Honda dealer and was told they would order the part. Didn’t hear back, so I called again. No reply. Went to another mechanic in town who is great, and he said he’d order the part and call when it arrived. Did not hear from him either. I knew this is not an easy repair, especially never having done it before, but it seems nobody wanted to do it and I was sick of hearing the bzzzzzzzz when I locked my doors. It took me about 3 hours, taking it slow, and with the help of some internet videos and photos, but it wasn’t horrible. The part itself was easy to put in once I got the latch assembly out. If I had to do it again, I could do it in about an hour. The best thing is the mechanic quoted me $250, and the dealer would’ve charged $400. This $12 part is definitely worth it!

Excellent replacement part for my 2003 Honda Pilot
The media could not be loaded. The right front passenger side lock actuator failed on my 2003 Honda Pilot. Getting at this part is a bit of a task, but can be done with a bit of patience. This part is a perfect replacement for the OEM unit. Total replacement time was around 2 hours... well add 30 minutes to that for the time it took me to open the door panel back up to retrieve the flashlight I had left inside the door! Fit and function are perfect and the door lock now functions, good as new.

Be careful, don't close the door until...
The part works as it should, one giant gotcha. The external level is on top of the internal level inside the white housing. They have to be in their corresponding positions or the latch will not unlock. And you can not open the door with either handles. Make sure you can open the door with the internal or external handle before you shut the door close, otherwise you have to break the internal plastic side panel

Cheap and easy fix
Item fits in my 03 rsx-s. Minus 1 star because the pin on the unit was slightly bent and when installed cause the unit to be unresponsive. Had to remove and reinstall. Other then that it works and my doors can now be locked with my remote again

Held up to 1.5 years of daily use!
These actuators are fairly easy to install. The time consuming part is getting the door panel off, then the hardest issue I had was getting the door latch screws undone to install the actuator. Do not use a hammer driven impact driver like I did as you will bend the sheet metal and cause your latch to not align properly. You really need to use a drill-based impact driver with a Philips #3 bit to get the screws out in the most effective manner. Really wish Honda would have used a torx head instead of a philips head...I have had these left-side actuators installed for a year and a half, and after almost daily use they have still held up. Now the actuators on the passenger side are going out, and I will be using FAERSI for those failed units as well.

Defective
Took out the old actuator and replaced. This was the second time for that door and fourth for for car which is 18 years old, so I've done this before. The replacement did not work at all once plugged in. The old one still worked but was weak, so I know the wiring is fine. This is not an easy install job, so don't try if you have not already watched the videos and like frustration.
