Excellent form wrist support
Excellent firm wrist support and quality finish, not too smooth. Looks great too. Works well with my mechanical keyboard.

Excellent comfort
I had an "old faithful" wrist rest die on me a few weeks ago and I had been struggling with replacing it, until this turned up. Suddenly, no more frustration (and silly spelling mistakes) from hitting the wrong keys, comfortable on the wrist, stable on the desk and it feels a perfect height for me.

Comfortable and supple wrist rest for use with standard keyboards
If you happen to use a fairly tall-profile keyboard and have no support for your wrists then a good wrist-rest is an absolute must to help reduce the likelihood of injury or strains. This particular wrist rest from Kensington is an excellent design for a couple of key reasons.Firstly, it is a pliable gel material so you get some supple support without feeling like your wrists are being impacted on from beneath. Secondly, it is one cohesive piece without any joins, nooks or crannies. This makes it more hygienic as there is nowhere for crumbs or other detritus to collect and fester - which can often be the case with some wrist rests (and keyboards themselves for that matter). In addition to that, the solid gel-esque surface is easy to clean, and by having no fabric material is not going to get all discoloured from use.Really it’s the pliable and durable build that is probably the cause of the premium price point here. I have used cheap wrist rests before and I must reiterate that a firm or poorly-designed wrist rest can be counter-productive, so I would be confident in recommending this one as so far it has been comfortable and doing what it’s supposed to do.UPDATE: after extensive use over a long period of time, the surface fabric has rucked-up in a couple of places.

Wrist fatigue
Must-have if you're using the Magic Trackpad. It's sorted my wrist fatigue.

Too thin and hard
Doesn't offer enough padding and is painful after an hour or so. Went back to a more traditional wrist wrest which it's far better.

Nice rest but quite big
This is quite a good rest but is a bit too big for me for maximum comfort. It needs quite a lot of space on the desk and is just a bit too high for me. It is good quality though and I'm sure it will work well if you have more space.
