If You Give a Dog a Donut

This is a cute book. My grandchildren love this entire series. It was a treat for them to receive this book to add to their Mouse/Animal Books collection. It's a very simple story for toddlers to follow along and keep their interest. My toddlers love to read this and the books in the series multiple times. Each time we read the story they find new details in the story. They ask questions about the characters and it's a good sharing time experience. The illustrations are great. This is a great quality book. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this book to others.

Got this as a Baby Shower gift and the parents love this book. They indicated that it is one of the favorite books they got for their little one.

This is such a cute book! I grew up reading if you give a mouse a cookie. I didn't even know they made other ones! now I have to buy my daughter them all!

My friend daughter loves our dog (Bulldog) and loves to feed him snacks, so this was the perfect book for her. The illustrations are adorable and the flow of reading is nicely paced. Definitely follows theme for if you give a mouse a cookie. If you love that book you’ll love this one!

My friend was going to have a “Baby Sprinkle,” and so I wanted to get a children’s donut book – to play along with the theme. I decided to opt for a spin on a childhood classic “If you give a mouse a cookie” and “If you give a moose a muffin.” As a child, I remember enjoying both of these books. The overall content was fine – simple and easy to follow. (I think I enjoyed the other series better – but that is just based on my childhood memories. Whereas now, I am reading this book in the lens of an adult.)The covering of this book slides off very easily which can be bothersome. When I received it, there was a tear in the back. This inconvenienced me, as I had to exchange it. I did not want to give someone a defected book as a gift. Even if it were my own, a flaw like this would bother me. The back also looked like it had dirty smudges on it – was able to wipe off with thumb.Question the care of the product, but worth the buy.
