UPDATE**. BUY THIS HAT AT THE SIZE YOU MEASURE. You can always use fillers/sizing assistance to make the hat fit a little tighter. I’m ordering one at the size 7 1/8, as I should have. Measure it a couple times to make sure that YOU get the size right. I LOVE THIS HAT AND AM ORDERING IT AGAIN!!!! I just hope it’s as nice as the first one. 🥰I measured my head several times, and was size 7 &1/8. Other reviews said the hat was sized so that I should get a size smaller. I ordered a size 7. It came and it was very tight feeling. With previous hats, though, the brim would expand on my head after I wore it for a while. So I’ve been wearing it every day, everywhere for about three weeks. Sure enough, my hat is now comfortable and fits well.Meanwhile, since I wore it everywhere, I received lots of compliments; at least one from a person at each location that I wore it to. Someone even saw me in the car in a parking lot and yelled, ‘Hey, I like your hat!’Since I got skin cancer on my nose, I initially purchased the hat to keep the sun off of my nose. It works great, and even my doctor complimented me on how great it looks, and how effective it is at keeping the sun off of my face. The brim is perfect for that!I was also a little concerned that the material would be frayed or would fray easily. I’m allergic to wool and most hats are made from wool, but this palm hat is sturdy and made well. So far, no problem at all! And yes, I have bumped my hat when I get into the car (I lowered the seat after that!), but still no fraying or any other damage to the hat at all.

It’s natural color, but it looks like little whiter and It is breathable and fresh.I wanted to clarify for other buyers that this is not a natural Mexican palm leaf hat, even if it looks like one in the photos. This is a Shantung Straw hat, which is a high-quality treated paper fiber.Because of the material and the lacquer finish, it feels very stiff and "papery" to the touch. It’s extremely lightweight and holds its shape perfectly, but if you are looking for the heavy, organic feel of a traditional woven palm hat from Mexico, this isn't it.Sizing: It runs large. I ordered a 7 3/8 and have about a finger's width of extra space. I’m using some foam tape behind the leather sweatband to get a snug fit. Overall, it’s a great, genuine Stetson, but make sure you know the difference in materials before buying!

I’m no cowboy or an aficionado of cowboy hats, but I think this is a great looking Stetson. Great value for great quality.

My wife got me this as a gift. I hate baseball caps and have trouble finding other hats that fit my fat head. She read that the hats ran a little big, and gave it a shot. My head is more like an 8 than their largest size, but it fits great. I get lots of complements. I did give it two coats of scotch guard, since it is not waterproof. I still avoid wearing the hat if there is going to be significant rain. I was surprised by the stiffness of the hat, but I now know that is how most cowboy hats retain their shape. I have had a cheap felt hat, which I abused by wearing in all weather while working outdoors. This is not that style of hat. It is more for walking around than for work. The holes help it keep cool, but it is still hotter than a baseball cap. I have worn it while out in the sun for hours and it prevented sun burn even in the Florida sun.

The sizing isn’t right . It’s bigger than it says. But it’s a great hat . I’m happy with it .

Its a Stetson, that name comes with quality and history… and this hat fits the bill!!! Perfect fit, i probably could have gotten a 7 1/2 instead of 7 5/8 but i like that it sits low and not tight so its perfect! Quality material, and just a great classic cowboy hat! The packaging is absolute top notch, other hat companies could learn a thing or two from your shipping department! Packaged with care and arrived in perfect condition due to the packaging/box!

I purchased this Stetson for an event. I enjoyed the style of this model and the fit was perfect. The but...I don't know how long this sat on a shelf, it was shipped in a simple cardboard box, and arrived somewhat deformed on one side. It will required some steaming and adjusting to get both sides back to symmetrical again. That was disappointing. Got to work on it before I would be comfortable wearing it out. It is after all, an "Amazon Stetson." Your mileage may vary.

I shave my head so a broad rim hat is important in Australia. The hat itself appears to be 3D printed, which is fine by me. Fits great, works great, and gives a distinquished appearance when I am out and about.

Great Quality, but limited sizes on Amazon India. I needed size 7 1/4, but only size 7 5/8 was available.
