This was great for my elderly mom. She loves it

Been using this for about a year because it was hard for me to read smaller one and I was using incorrect time. This one is a perfect size and has many different information and formats to change as wanted. Good quality clock.

We bought this clock for each of our mother's two years ago. They seemed to like the large, easy to read print. So we decided to order one for ourselves. Received the clock, but an alarm kept going off at midnight, even though no alarms were set. So not to lose sleep, I returned it for a replacement. We received the second one and once again we were awakened, but this time by a single chime at 1:00 a.m. Again no alarms had been set. But there was a chime set and after trial-and-error, we finally were able to get the chime to stop by completely de-selecting the hour(s). This review is no to complain but just to give a heads up for anyone else that are receiving an unwanted alarm or chime.

This clock has everything an elderly person with Alzheimer's would need -- date, time, day of the week, everything! The numbers are huge, so they can see it from anywhere in the room, too. It's foolproof, with a backup battery that keeps it going even when the power goes out. Now, if it came with a robot butler to change the time every time Daylight Savings Time happens so my dad doesn't have to call me to explain how to reset it, it would be perfect! (fortunately, it's easy enough to set that my dad can follow directions over the phone!)

My parter is in his 80's now and this helps him with keeping the time and the day and the date straight. It's a great help.

I purchased this for a family member in the early stages of Parkinsons Disease. I really helps him to keep track of what day it is, plus the time etc. It was easy to get going and it's easy to read. Overall, we like it a lot.One thing to note. After we had it for awhile, apparently someone, probably at the factory, was being a jerk. Because the alarm went off at 3:40am. I did not set the alarm at all because we don't use it for that feature. Anyway, it was startling, but I was up and awake already so it didnt wake the whole house before I got it turned off.

I have bought this clock twice for relatives in a Nursing Home. Wish it used batteries instead of having to plug it in. Was filing away my papers and realized there is no warranty on this clock listed anywhere online or in the box. You can buy a Protection Plan, but guess this is about the first thing I have bought in 72 years which didn't come with a warranty of some kind.
