Commodore 64: 30 Games in One Joystick

This was a gift to my 43 year-old ex "little boy". He had played all these games when he was younger and remembered ALL of them This was the BEST gift for him. Everything was in there, all the games from the past and this item was in pristine shape and delivered earlier than anticipated. This seller is the Best.

The light comes on but no signal to the TV. This is a non functional item which is absolutely WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!

Got this used from an Amazon seller for less than half retail, not disappointed. It plugs directly into most any TV that has RCA plugs, one for audio and the other for video.My only wish is that it had an external joystick port, I have some sticks that I used on an actual C-64 back in the day that I would like to be able to use again. There is a way to crack open this one and hack it to support another port, so I may go that route, but having the extra built in from the start would be best.

I purchased this product for my niece,having had positive experiences with similar items,and finding the price to be too tempting.However,what had been the hope of introducing her to the videogames of my generation turned into an exercise in frustration from the outset.The screw to the battery casing stripped with very little application of a screwdriver,the titles suffered from redundancy,and many of them required the use of too many buttons.What was the most disappointing aspect of this item was the potential it possessed; perhaps fewer similar titles and a re-configuration of the button commands would ensure the promise of this product.

This product is an awesome look back at early gaming, the unfortunate part of it is no saves.

A must have for any household to understand some of our computers of the past and be able to appreciate how much fun to have with so little space of memory the games take. Thanks to the people that made this work for our TV's today. Instant loading and no waiting to play a game.

I was really excited when I saw this item was out! I had the Commodore 64 when I was a kid, and my brother and I used to spend hours and hours playing games on it. I was so glad to see that Winter Games and Summer Games was included.... until the item arrived and I plugged it in and tried to play with it.. the joystick doesn't work at ALL when you move it to the right. So, you can only use it to go up down or left.BIG Dissapointment. Don't waste your $$.

Devastatingly simple, I was almost disappointed by the lack of technical gumph when I opened this product. However, when I realised it was properly childs play to connect and use and the games were exactly how I remember them, I was won over. There's no frills cos we didn't need them in the 80s! The joystick is on the small side but my hands are bigger than last time I played and it didn't affect the playability of the games. Loved the 'loading' screen. This game is a great gift for anyone who was a kid in the 80s or who likes retro games that are totally unaltered.

Waited like a child on christmas day for this. When it arrived packaging was suspect as if already opened & likely used. Never worked, stuck on blue screen. Spent a few days on reddit trying to debug it.gave up as wanted my 60£ back. Will just download an emulator and play on the laptop. Gutted but guess it the chip was knocked about at the store or in the delivery.

Played this quite a lot on Christmas day, what a great blast from the past. Dropped a star as the list of games could be a lot bigger I would think. Also kinda tricky working out how to play the games with no instructions!

Perfect gift and enjoyable time for retro fans.

This little device brings back memories as you play through C64 classics, including Impossible Mission 2 and Pitstop 2.The games are faithful to the original, even the original loading screen is present. Effectively, this is a C64 on a chip!The output is an RGB lead with mono sound.My only criticisms would be that the joystick can be a bit stiff to try and use, it doesn't move as freely as real C64 joysticks did.Also, the battery casing is held on by a screw. As it takes 4x AA batteries, I use rechargeables, it is a bit of a pain getting a screwdriver out every time the batteries run low.
