BLACK+DECKER Rotating Waffle Maker, Black, WMD200B

I've used it once a few minutes ago to make Liège waffles... NOT THE AMERICAN I-HOP variety...So, it worked exactly as it said it would... no bells; no whistles... just on and off with a green light saying, Go.I was considering the purchase of a commercial grade unit... after my experience here, why bother. Again..First at bat was a hit.I used my phone as a three-minute timer... all was great... the gaufres (Belgian Waffle) were as I remembered them in Liège, Belgium.

Compact, easy to use! I have waffles at least twice a week! This waffle maker is compact, easy to use, and comes with directions and a couple of recipes! I LOVE IT! Heats up quick too!

I just got this yesterday. I followed the cooking directions that are in the manual. It heated up quickly. I used 3/4 cup of batter. I poured it in the middle of the plates and let gravity spread it around. I like my waffles brown but still soft. I cooked it for 4 minutes and it came out perfectly. I used the Hungry Jack pancake/waffle mix not a from scratch recipe.It's a compact machine so putting it away in my pantry will be easy. This is perfect for a single person or family.I know there are people that don't like reading the manual that come with machines but, I would suggest for safety sake that you read how to properly use ANY machine you buy, but especially any machines that have the potential of starting fires in your home. Once you know how to properly use the machine then you can play around with and get creative.So far I'm happy with it.I think it's a good buy for the price.Hopefully they improve on this one by making one with a cooking timer and removable plates that can be washed.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. He LOVES the ability to cook two waffles at one time. It heats and cooks evenly, makes a great waffle, relatively easy to store, plate cleans right in the dishwasher. Great value for the cost.

Worked nice with nice size, but was a bit of a mess, since not supposed to use water to clean the plates. It would be nice if the light indicated when the food was done vs when the plates is originally hot for use. Might be nicer if they had two lights to know when food is done to remove not too soon nor have it inside too long. But my family enjoyed how it turned out.

It makes fantastic tasting waffles. It does not have an on/off switch you plug it in or unplug it. It is lightweight which is good if you have to carry it to the kitchen from the pantry. It doesn't tell you when the waffles are done. I opened it when the steam stopped. The waffles always came out perfect but I would not buy it again. It really needs and On /off button and it needs to signal when the waffle is done.
