Despite a few flaws, I am giving The Ultimate Car Scratch Remover a solid two thumbs up.I bought the Ultimate Car Scratch Remover system after doing A LOT of research online right after Idiscovered a nice big scratch on the fender on our Chevy 2010 Equinox, thank you careless person. It’sblack btw so it really stood out like a sore thumb.I was devastated since the Equinox is our only car and we are very proud of it. I was skeptical aboutthis product at first, but it turned out to be a really good investment and it simply worked. It easilypaid for itself this time so removing a scratch in the future (knock on wood) will not cost us a dime.I have to confess that I bought and gave it to my husband to use since I have never done something likethis.… (he doesn’t have a lot of experience doing this sort of thing either). After watching him use it, Ithought to myself “jeez I could have done that”.I have a few suggestions on a couple things that could be done better with the kit. All in all I believe it’sa good investment for any new car owner, especially if you have a black or dark color car.THE GOODIt’s all in the box. (it actually came with some cool bonus items too!) It’s obvious to me that the systemwas put together with a lot of thought to cover all the bases for beginners. With every other product Ifound online to remove car scratches you were expected to go buy other things, like towels, wax and soon.The formulas smell awesome so it’s a pleasure to use! The glaze smells like grape and one of the liquidssmells like watermelon.It appears this system can tackle just about any type of clear coat car scratch you can throw at it. I waspleased to find out this kit is not a throwaway one shot deal, everything is reusable and there is plentyto remove tons of scratches. It’s peace of mind for my husband.Just follow the simple directions and videos and you can’t go wrong. I was worried that my hubbymight make things worse, but watching someone actually using the product on a real scratch was superhelpful.Here is something don’t highlight this very well (they really should). I discovered theydo offer a different kit that does (Amazon).It comes with a good quick start guide – but I think its more detailed than it needs to be, maybe theycould streamline it a bit more.They have some “how to” videos on their main website and the majority on YouTube channel – myhusband would prefer all of the videos to be on Youtube because he found it really helpful to watch thevideos on his phone while he was out at the car doing the work.They say that the kit can be used to fix other types of paint damage like bird dropping etching, yellowheadlight lenses but they only have a few videos on these sort of things, I would like to know what elsethe ultimate car scratch remover kit can do.Despite these flaws, I would totally recommend this product to anyone with a new car.First, because it’s the only car scratch remover product I found that is complete and designed to worktogether, it’s all in the box.Second, since we had no experience removing scratches all the videos plus and a quick start guide gotmy hubby up and running within minutes.Third, we always know if we have any question we can always get a hold of them with the VIP emailservice, and that to me is priceless.Fourth, it smells great too!

No complaints at all. Easy to follow videos and the quick start guide was all I needed to get rid of my scratches.I'm impressed with the high quality components, and there is plenty formula to do more scratches in future if needed...this definitely isn't a cheap throwaway kit.It seemed a little expensive at first, but in about 10 minutes the scratch on the fender was gone and I saw my smile in the reflection. Definitely a great investment for my new car.Someone else said, scratches are part of life… they just happen. I now have a secret weapon which will no doubt save me a lot of money and headaches in the long run and keep my car looking amazing.Without a doubt this product is a life saver for anyone with a big ugly scratch or scuff on their car and don't need to be a professional to remove the scratches.

I had a few scratches on my brand new truck from my neighbors dog and had hoped this would be what I was looking for. Before buying this product I went to my local department store and got myself some scratch remover. They did not work to well so I took the plunge and spent 4 times more for this product then I spent for the compound from my department store and this product did not work any better. What sold me on this product was the videos the company put out showing how to use their product but after using it and following the directions the scratches didn't come out any better then using the $14 kit at my department store.CSR claims it removes 90% of scratches without having to use sand paper but I would say that is not a true statement. The scratches I had could not be felt by rubbing my fingernail over them so I shouldn't have had to use the sandpaper but that was the only thing that worked to finally get the scratches out and the $14 kit came with sandpaper also.Save yourself $55 and don't buy this as it is no better then the kits you can get for $14.
