I've steeped this tea for literally decades. Glad to have a good source for it. This blend is strong, yet mellow at the same time. I love it, and always have. I do prefer it with lemon, no sugar. In the winter, with honey.

After a visit to Ireland, my husband started drinking Barry's Gold Tea exclusively. Hot tea is not really "my thing," but even I got on the Barry's Gold train occasionally. My husband likes its smooth, soothing taste and says it has no bitterness if prepared properly.

Good strong UK black tea. Just how I like it. Tastes great. Good price. Makes me very happy and contented.

Very fond of this tea. It will always remind me of my friend’s father who loved his Barry’s tea a deep deep brown. It’s a bit like the Mark and Spencer’s tea that I received in a holiday tin a couple of years of ago. Malty and lovely.

The tea is wonderful, but the poor boxes were shipped in a sack and look to be the victims of some horrible event. Barry's is perfect tea, it's mild and tannic while being soft and drinkable with or without milk. The tea bags come stringless so don't forget the spoon when you sit down.
