Works great

Arrived in good condition and on time. It does everything it says. But a little hard to understand the instructions. Specifically if it’s your first time using one this. I suggest look it up on YouTube! After that you won’t have any problems or issues. I do recommend using the light controller for a special lighting effect for your mobile gigs.

A solid inexpensive board for small venues. A bit antiquated to program and save scenes and chases. I bought it for a small theater, I have about 30 instruments and there in lies the problem, with only 12 channels I can’t control all the instruments individually. I need a more sophisticated board or software. The other issue is it doesn’t allow fading from scene to scene unless you do it manually, so once you program a scene you can’t set a fade to another programmed scene. The logic is so primitive it is way to complex to set up creative scenes. You get what you pay for, it is well made, solid, but limited functionality.

I love the design and simplicity of the product. All channels work the right attributes, the correct LEDs are lighting up, and the controller works as intended.It is so simple and the design is clean, yet the product itself came defective. I checked my cables and lights to make sure the set-up is correct. Everything is good. The problem is... That the scanners will control the wrong lights and the channels will control the wrong attributes of the light. Like channel 1 is suppose to be intensity or brightness of the light, but for some reason it makes it strobe. I switched lights and cables plenty of time to be sure. Sometimes the right channels work and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the scanners uses the right lights, but most of the time they don't. The design is simple and the look is neat. I have a show coming up soon, so I don't want to toss it.

Its made very sturdy but its very hard to setup. I returned after not be able to set it up.

The media could not be loaded. Great little controller! My only negative would be that the manual is tiny and not super well written, but with some time and experience you get it all figured out. All functions work as they should. Using in music sync mode requires quite a lot of volume, so what I have done is put a small speaker behind the controller, very close to it, then I can control the responsiveness of the sync mode by adjusting the volume on that small speaker. It would be nice if there was a sensitivity adjustment, but at this price you can't complain.Additional video added... Bysun lights top row, Lixada moving heads on the bottom, Chauvet Line Dancer in the center, all controlled by a Co-Z DMX controller. Fog machine is a Theefun, also have the Theefun bubble machine. For a low budget setup everything works as expected and was a hit with the wedding party. Looking forward to using this setup more this summer. One more item of note, my controller will set 184 scenes per chase, that is quite a bit less than stated, but not a deal breaker to me. Buy this unit.

UPDATE:Got a replacement unit and the lcd screen was cracked from the factory. Regardless of this annoyance, I pushed ahead to see if the controller actually worked. It does, until you try to tap to sync to music. This seems to overload the controller and it then completely freezes and stops communicating with fixtures until you turn the unit completely off and back on. This is a massive waste of time. Don’t buy this because what will likely happen is you’re warranty will expire, then it will break shortly after.Original review below:The unit has stopped communicated with any of my fixtures. I've factory reset the unit and I've tried it with various DMX cables and fixtures. All have the same problem - a random flickering and jittering is noted when using the sliders to try and achieve control. I assume the internals of the unit have shorted out.
