Great for upgrading a Synology DS220+ from 2GB to 18GB
This RAM works perfectly for upgrading a Synology DS220+ NAS from the built-in 2GB of RAM to 18GB. The installation is painless and DSM recognizes the added RAM without problems. Highly recommended if you find your RAM usage on your NAS to be too high and need some extra breathing room for your Docker containers or virtual machines.

Works great with Synology DS224+
It’s hard to find a 16GB module that works with the DS224+ but this one does work. The first boot after you plug it in takes a bit longer as it does a memory test of the expanded RAM but then it boots right up with no other problems or warnings.

Seamless Upgrade for Synology DS224+
After spending hours researching whether or not my NAS would accept any more RAM modules. I stumbled across this on an online thread. Despite supposed 6GB limitations for my NAS, I know see a total of 18 all of which is being used. After installing this Samsung DDR4 RAM in my NAS, the difference is immediately noticeable. If you want a decent performance out of your computer, you need a larger amount of RAM memory nowadays. For Windows 11, you need at least 16 GB.

100% Compatible on my Synology NAS
I just got the item today and without any hesitation I installed the 16 GB memory immediately on my DS224+. At first boot it takes 2 minutes to wait until it properly boot itself I verified my total memory on my DSM 7.2 update 3 and it is showing 18GB(with 2GB default RAM). If you are looking for RAM that is compatible with your Synology this is the memory that you are looking for.Installation is easy, packaging is well done and worth the price.
