I'll give you folks the good and bad of this item. Also, it will be honest review.Good:It feels very nice on the ears. The sound coming from the headset doesn't overpower your hearing.The cords are built to last. They aren't plastic rubber kind of cords. It's more of a nylon rope cord.The adapter for headphone/mic jacks was a nice touch. The layout for the cords for ideal for PC gaming, but it was cool of EasySMX to add adaptor for us.BadI don't see the need to have LED lights. I'm really nitpicking here. Therefore, I felt LED could have been left out of the builtThe weight of the headset does play a factor if you're playing 10plus hours.I wish the mic had mic cover because. I feel at odds if I'm talking too close or not close enough to the mic.Overall, I like the headset because it's built nicely, the cord is double duty tough, and the audio frequency isn't overpowering to the ears. The drawbacks of not having a mic cover and the weight does take its effect after the 10 hours plus of gaming. However, the headset is still an awesome item to buy for PC gaming, watch movies/Netflix on the laptop. It's not ideal for phone users.Score: Very High Badass

Sound quality was higher than expected for this price point. It doesn't get as loud as some of my other headphones, but the fidelity and bass is pretty impressive for a pair at this price point. Mic in front of my mouth is something I wanted for my workstation, as I make a lot of VOIP calls at work. I found that other headphones with an in-line mic weren't able to separate my voice from the background as well, so this is an excellent alternative that gets right where your mouth is. There is an adapter for TRRS devices like game controllers and phones, but honestly I think the plugs would get kind of unnecessarily cumbersome for anything other than a desktop. I'd rather use a clean one wire TRRS native headphone system for anything portable like a phone. Thankfully, that's not what I intended to do with this, and it works great on my desktop.I kind of wish you cold remove the USB plug though. It is required for things like the LED lights and the mic toggle button. Since this is targeted as a gaming headset, I'm sure there are other applications in which a USB connection wouldn't be so readily available (especially when using the TRRS adapter), and honestly, on my desktop I don't care for it and would rather stick to the 3.5mm audio jacks only. But there's always going to be this USB plug just dangling there if you don't use it. I have half a mind to just take some scissors and cut it off, but I hate the thought of removing a feature in case I change my mind in the future. It should be an optional plug that can be removed, then I'd award it 5 stars.

I bought this headset for multiple reasons. I do a lot of gaming, mostly XBOX and some PC. I watch lots of netflix on my pc, and I needed a good headset mor my PC as well as a back up for my XBOX. I thoght the price was excellent, so I gave these headsets a try. They arrived very quickly, and was packaged in a nice box. Although it had a manual, and seemed thick, the directions were vaugue for hooking to your gaming system. I struggled a bit up front, until I noticed a picture on the plastic bag and realized it needed to plug into my controller. The sound was nice, felt really comfortable on my ears, and on my head, and the microphone picked up my voice very easily. The mic is very flexible, and can be situated in any position. It is more than a qualified backup headset for my xbox. Where I found these headsets to be really amazing was when I connected to my PC. OMG ! The sound was much nicer ( not that there was anything wrong with the sound before ) the LED is cool, not needed, but looks nice. I think the most important plus about my new headset is how comfortable it sits on my head. Between all my gaming and videos work I do on the computer, its very important that I have comfort on my head, and the sound is pretty high end as well. I am very pleased.

Got these for my step-sons for use on PC, XBox 1, and PS4. Package does come with the needed Y-adapter so they can be used on console. Sound quality is decent. Noise canceling doesn't really exist. They have to occasionally play with the audio connections/y-adapter to get the mic or headset to work properly again with console controllers, hence the 4 star review. Unknown if a new,"higher quality" y-adapter would fix this as it works well enough as it is and haven't taken the time to find out.Also note that to get the LED lights to work in the ear pieces and mic, it needs an external USB power source. Any small portable USB charger with a USB-A female port should work if using on console and you just NEED to be lit up.

Another awesome product from EasySMX. I own two of their controllers and love them. These headphones are also great. Even the sound balancing seems optimized for gaming (no blowout in the low end). The USB is only for powering the LEDs, however it is worth it because they built an LED indicator at the tip of the microphone so you can easily tell when the mic is on or off. Plus, the LEDs on the earpieces have a cool spinning animation. The cable is high quality, and I really appreciate that they default to a SPLIT IN/OUT (two separate 1/8" jacks), vs my old headset which defaulted to a single jack, and came with a splitter. These DO come with a "joiner" adapter if you want a single jack. For less than $30, can't go wrong.
