We're Going on a Leaf Hunt

This book was wonderful had children going on a leaf hunt. It showed four trees with different leaves. It also followed Going on Bear Hunt.

If you like going on a bear hunt, you will LOVE going on a leaf hunt! I pair this book with an actual leaf hunt afterward. My kiddos love it! The book is packed full of fun!

Such a cute play off of Going on a Bear Hunt while also educating young readers on different types of trees. This is a super cute book and everyone will love the ending!

This book was read at school and my grandson loved it so much we ran out and bought it. it is a fun book with a twist in it. I am not going to tell you what it is, you will have to buy it and find out. It is worth the purchase.

At first, I was disappointed in this book. I bought it because I had heard and loved the audio version of "Going on a Bear Hunt." It isn't quite the same, although it has plenty of motions. The best way I can put it, is that it isn't as sing-songy as the audio version of "Going on a Bear Hunt." But, I took it to read to my son's kindergarten class and it was a huge hit! They loved it because I didn't make them sit in their spots to listen to a story. I let them stand up and do the motions with me. So, I feel differently about it now and do really like it.

The book was in perfect condition. I work with Pk-5th grade and used this with the lower grade levels. My students all loved this and singing along with me during the book. Then, we got to go on a leaf hunt and talk about their different leaves and compare to the book. So fun!

Got this book to read before doing some fall crafts! We read it then go outside and gather all different colors of leaves to use for crafts! We made a lions mane this week

Nos ha gustado, bonitas ilustraciones y estructura repetitiva que hace que sea fácil de entender. Se puede narrar también cantado siguiendo el ritmo de la famosa canción “we are going on a bear hunt”.

YouTubeでリズミカルに読んでいる動画を見つけて、それをお手本に読む練習をしました。落ち葉を探しに出かけた時は、表紙の子どもたちの様に落ち葉を持って本の文章をリズミカルにそらんじながら、楽しそうに歩いていました。木の名前や葉の形と色を知ることが出来るし、韻を踏んだ言葉がたくさん出てきて響きからも楽しめます。ちょっとクスっとなる場面もあって、小学校の読み聞かせボランティアをした時も盛り上がりました。
