G7th Limited Edition Platinum Black Capo

This capo is very nice. It feels like it is built to take a beating and can withstand anything. I was taken back a bit at it being black nickle, because I was hoping for it match my other solid black guitars. But it will match a new one I have coming soon so I can not complain. I would highly recommend this capo to anyone who gigs and needs one to be reliable and wont break, or for someone who is recording and needs the sound to be just right. I would give a 4/5 because of the black being black nickle or "platinum" black, but it worked out in my case. 5/5

This is the only capo I ever want to use at a gig. While Planet Waves has a very good one at a cheaper price line and Shubb has always been industry-standard reliable, you can't beat this capo for ease of use and size. Flawless and effortless operation, precise control and a low-profile onstage look that I prefer. The platinum black is very sharp looking. I have two of these, and will buy one for my 12-string soon. Well worth the money.

This is my second G 7th Capo. This is about as good as you can build a capo. Its solid as a rock and Does NOT distort or effect tuning. Black is very cool, but don't expect dull or flat black, as it is shinny "Black Chrome".Comes with a felt lined box to protect the finish. Its very pretty , but jury's out on how durable the black finish will be. None the less, every guitar player who I've shown it to has loved it!

I own a number of G7th capos, and I love how they work. But I have a black-on-black guitar, and for years I've wanted to get a black G7th to complete the full black-out treatment. The G7th is expensive to begin with, but the special edition black is outrageously so (unless you compare it to the gold one). But I finally decided to pop for the black G7th, only to be shocked to realize that what they call Platinum Black isn't black. The product photo shows a lot of what I thought were reflections on a glossy black capo. But the silvery color you see on most of the capo in the photo is the actual color of the capo. The apparent black part on the top is actually a reflection of a black backdrop or something. If you want a smoked-mirror effect for your capo, then this is the one for you. It's an expensive disappointment to me.

I chose this capo to see if it performs well. .it does.it looks great but,,, I chose it also because the ad says it is black..I ordered a black capo. .i did not get a black capo. ..I got polished chrome capo

I can't believe this guy is rating this capo 2 stars based solely on the fact that it is Platinum Black, of which is in the actual name description of this capo. It is great, don't let his negative rating fool you. Best capos out there. And I think that the platinum black is absolutely gorgeous. It's as if the black has a translucent mirror finish to it. Terrible description but you can kinda see it in the pictures. Highly recommend.

Works as advertised. You just put it where you want it and squeeze it. Tried it on a few guitars and it sounds good, no pinching of strings. It costs more than a regular one but is well built.

Verarbeitung und Funktion sind 1a.Bei Klassikgitarren könnte es mit der tiefen E-Saite von der Breite her knapp werden. Ansonsten super

機能性的にも必要十分の性能ありますが、見た目がいいですね。金属製の専用ケースもついていてそこにカポと一緒にピックを入れておいたりしてます。ちゃんと装着しないとビビりが発生したりしますがコツをつかめばすぐ装着できるようになります。特に丁寧に扱っているわけではないですが、今の所メッキ剥がれ等は見当たりません。

Dieses kompakte Kapo kann mit einem Handgriff exakt angebracht werden. Man darf nur nicht zu schwach zudrücken, sonst überrascht mitunter doch eine der 6 Saiten durch Klirren.Nach einiger Zeit beherrscht man auch die einhändige Demontage, ohne dass das Kapo aus der Hand rutscht. Hier wäre eine Vertiefung an dem Entriegelungshebel angebracht, um ein Abrutschen zu verhindern. (Bei der Nachfolgeversion funktioniert die Entriegelung griffsicherer.) Das Kapo geht sehr gut am Gitarrenkopf zu befestigen.Optisch ist das Kapo ein Hingucker und die dunkle Silberlackierung passt gut zu der Mechanik meiner Gitarre.Ein Punkt Abzug wegen der etwas fummeligen Entriegelung und dem hohen Aufpreis für die dunkle Version.

NEWPORTと両方買ってみました。皆さん書いているように、結構重いです。重さが気になるなら、NEWPORTの方が良いと思います。ただ、アッチはシャブカポ同様にネジでの事前調整が必要です。こちらは、ただギュッてするだけ。取り付けは簡単だけど、重い。自分がアドバイスを求められたら、NEWPORTを勧めますね。
