Hi-Gear HG3270c EZ Emissions Pass & Catalytic Converter Cleaner, 15 fl. oz.

I had the P0420 code pop up on my 1999 Honda Civic. Reading reviews, I gave this product a try.Terrible product!First, packaging is horrendous. I bought 5 cans of this stuff thinking that I may need several to clear up the problem long term. Of the 5 cans that I received, 3 were leaking. The bottom of the box was all red. Also, there is an "inside" metal cap that is virtually impossible to remove leaving the product virtually impossible to use. Bad packaging design by far!Second, and probably most importantly, the product does not work. I tried one can and the check engine light popped back on during that tank of gas. I erased the code and tried a second can with the 93 octane gas at BP and the check engine light went on again with the P0420 code. Obviously this stuff does not work.I finally put in a can of B-12 Chemtool Total Fuel System Clean-up and that shut the check engine light off by itself.I suggest not purchasing Hi-Gear HG3270c EZ Emissions Pass & Catalytic Converter Cleaner due to poor packaging and poor results.

but like the other two CAT cleaners i tried in the last, i dont know how long the results will last. i also replaced my two oxygen sensors as it was time anyways. now i use marvel mystery oil in every tank to keep my new spark plugs clean as well as my upper cylinder heads, fuel pump and springs in my fuel injectors.

As a whole Hi Gear Catalytic Converter Cleaner is a very good quality product and will clean your whole combustion system very well. It is not a fix all. If your catalytic converter is clogged up a little it may help to clear your system but if you have a really old clogged up converter it probably needs to be replaced. What this cleaner is really for is to keep your converter from getting clogged up to begin with.

I've tried many fuel system cleaning products and this stuff really works! Restores power and acceleration in just one application. Seems to clean entire fuel system from the injectors to the catalytic converter. I used it every few months to keep my system clean.

Sad to say, my catalytic converter was beyond hope; wound up getting it fixed the old fashioned way: spend a lot of money.This may work for you, so good luck if you try this product.

My P0420 code for 2005 Honda Odyssey did not return after using this product. Could be coincidence, but I'll give it credit.

This stuff did wonders for my 2004 Buick. It stalled often and at the worst times, but this product cleared it up
