Carlson'S 12G Win Replace Tube Cyl

Shipped quickly, was as advertised, included a choke key that I didn't expect - probably my fault for not reading closely enough. Appreciate the seller and manufacturer. Accepts all potential loads including steel up to BB and F, according to packaging.

Works in my Thompson center New Englander 12 guage. Hard to find actual ones made by Tc. Threaded right in and seems very good quality.

Perfect fit for Winchester 1400 MkII. This gun came with Winchoke tubes but no open cylinder choke tube. If you want to shoot cylinder choke (like, for slugs), you have to remove the Winchoke tube and then protect the now-exposed threads. You do NOT want to do like I did as an ig'nernt teen in the 80's and shoot it with the threads exposed. Fortunately and miraculously the first thing I learned when i installed this was my ignorance had not damaged any threads. This tube seated perfectly, flush against the base of the threads and flush to the barrel wall - perfect fit, no bumps or gaps. It mounts flush to muzzle, not extended like Winchoke tubes, so Winchoke wrench won't work. I used a Carlson's universal wrench to install it. Now I can shoot slugs and scatter-groups all day long!
