Seiko Women's SUP176 Swarovski Crystal-Accented Stainless Steel Solar Watch

I had been looking for a watch for over a year, but hadn't seen anything I liked, and since I carry my iPhone 6 plus with me everywhere, I convinced myself I didn't really NEED a watch. However, there are times, especially when traveling, when it would be convenient to be able to check the time quickly. When I got the Amazon email showing this watch, I was instantly attracted by the styling and the Swarovski crystals. I also loved the loose bracelet styling since I hate the confining feeling of most watches. I chose not to remove any links. It was a Christmas gift to myself, and after a month and a half I am still loving the luxurious look and feel of it.April, 2015. When I got the watch around Christmastime, I decided to charge the battery. I was driving around town on a winter sunny day, and just propped my arm on the steering wheel so the sun hit the watch face for about an hour total. Then in January, I was in FL for a week wearing short sleeves, and in the sun some. The rest of the time, the watch has been on my arm and covered with winter sweaters and turtlenecks, and the watch is keeping perfect time. It doesn't take much to keep the battery charged!

This watch is beautiful. I haven't gave it to my girlfriend yet. The face may slightly smaller than expected, but I'm a guy. The most important thing is that I noticed a flaw in one of the crystals on the face of the watch. It appears dark no shine almost like it's missing, from many angles. I had women in my office who didn't notice it until I pointed it out.... I felt stuck between a rock and a hard place with Christmas being two days away. This is a great watch and gift that I'm excited to give, but I want it to be flawless.Problem solved: I called Amazon, spoke to a customer service rep. They are shipping me another watch that will be here by Friday, and my girlfriend can enjoy this until the new one arrives and then I'll shipped the flawed one back. Okay, it's been almost a year now since I gave this to my mom for Christmas 2014 and now I feel like I'm in a better position to leave a review for it. My mom loves it! I admit, I was hesitant about ordering it because I didn't have experience with a solar powered watch like this and questioned just how well it would work, but she just told me this past weekend that she loves it and is surprised that even though she sometimes puts it away in a dark drawer for a few days at a time, it is still running with the correct time when she pulls it back out. It's a nice, dainty-looking watch. Just what she likes. Very pleased and no regrets at all with the quality of this watch.

I looked at this watch everyday for quite a while and was unsure. When I saw that the price had increased by a few $, I decided to go ahead and purchase before it increased further. The watch is gorgeous. I just need to have a few links removed. If I were able to do it myself, I would have already worn it. I know that I am going to love it for a long time. I know also that my daughter will want to grab it when I visit her later this year, so I am not waiting, I am going to purchase the same for her.06/16/17 I just got the extra links removed. The watch looks so rich and classy on my small hand I am even more pleased.

Fossil has always been my favorite. I have a good collection from fossil. This one I bought for my fiance as a marriage gift, she liked it a lot. The real beauty of this watch is its solar so no need to worry about battery replacement. Look wise excellent. The crystal designed beautifully on bracelet and dial. Perfect for any kind of wrist.

It kept time accurately right from the box. However, I placed it in indirect sunlight for just a few hours to be sure - no need to change batteries. I also removed some links to size it. Why would anyone complain about this? That's how these bracelets are designed, and better to be too large than too small. I love it! Great price for a Seiko. It's comfortable, easy to read, and beautiful!

I had to have a couple of links removed to be able to keep it on but left it to remain fitting like a bracelet. It is very attractive does not look inexpensive and I appreciate that it does not need a battery. I have another watch that I wear all the time which is also solar and iI have found that an asset. The face is large enough that I have no trouble telling the time but it is still small enough for me to consider it dressy.

I ordered this watch spontaneously for my wife. Design and solar power were the main factors. I had to remove 6 links to adjust the band but it was, more or less, easy. Links suitable for removal are well marked. I decided to disengage 3 of each side. Although I was using professional watchmaker pin removal device it can be done with a large needle, too. Do not push the splitted end of the pin, start always at the solid head side. Look first and identify the proper side of the link. Usually it is close to the "arrow" mark. I charged the watch initially at plain sunlight to avoid eventual problems (very long charging time) caused by an artificial light. Bulbs of 2700K are recommended, cold 3000K dont do the job but natural sunlight is still the best.

The watch is beautiful. Reminds me of a watch I had 40 years ago except this one is exceptional. Would recommend purchasing as a gift either to yourself or someone special in your life.

This is a beautiful watch, the band is very generously sized. I did not remove any of the links as I prefer to wear the watch like a bracelet.
