The perfect patio grill!
Got here in one day with Amazon Prime shipping, and this thing could not have been simpler to put together! I was debating between this one and a Charbroil, but the others had multiple reviews talking about them being crazy-hard to assemble. With this Foreman Grill, it's as simple as just slipping two poles together and snapping them into the base, affixing the top grill plate part, and slipping on the grease pan and plugging in the cord! Voila!I will say that because of its lightweight, simple construction, it may not be the hardiest, most stable thing, so make sure to place it on a solid, flat surface and don't keep it out where wind gusts can knock it over easily. This is an ideal solution for small patios and balconies. The size is just right! However, as far as the surface space of the grill goes, you can fit a decent amount on it! I managed to do 4 chicken breasts and 4 sliced-open kielbasa this past weekend. I also did burgers, and everything turned out great! One thing that's good to know: the grease doesn't really 'flow' down into the grease pan, because the surface is flat. This is really easily fixed by just using whatever cooking tool you have at hand to help guide the grease down the rivet into the drain hole. Done!No cleaner/scraper comes with this, but I found that the grill plate piece was easy to remove and I could just wash it in my kitchen sink. All in all, for the price, this is THE perfect patio grill!

Great Grill for the Price... Lid Somewhat Sketchy
I recently moved into a condo where I can only have an electric grill on my porch, so I bought this. I have used the grill a few times, one being a big cookout. First, the grill is a good size; the surface can comfortably fit six hamburgers and a few hot dogs. It is sturdy on the stand and I am not worried about the grill tipping over. The food I cooked came out great and all the fat slide into the pan. When grilling a lot, you have to be sure to clear the "fat canal" so the grease and all can continually flow down. Clean-up was easy as the grill can be removed from the stand with a clip and it straddles my sink. The surface is also easy to clean as well. My only complaints were with the grill's lid. One, when you remove it there is no easy place to hang it. Two, a lot of moisture builds up underneath it and when you flip it over, water can spill onto your food. A little adjustable vent would be nice a long with a clip to hang it off the side of the grill. The grill can be used inside as well when removed from the stand which is a plus Overall, I do like this grill for my purposes and the price but would switch to gas or charcoal if I could.

fantastic buy
I purchased this item over a year ago when I was living in apartment complex and it worked great for patio grilling. There is no hassle with cleanup and the surface is huge and can cook enough items to handle a small gathering of friends. Adjustable heat setting allows you to cook slowly so that you can cover and relax with a few drinks with friends. When I moved into my new home last summer several of my neighbors wanted to buy it from me but I am pleased to say it now sits on the patio next to the hot tub and still works great.

Use with Caution
I received my grill at the end of March. I liked the grill, including the ease of cleaning. I purchased a new different model on Saturday, 4 months later, because while using it (indoors) I lifted the lid, which if you read the reviews is not vented and builds of steam/condensation. As I lifted the lid, the moisture dripped on the plug area at the side of the cooking surface, the unit sparked and popped causing me to jump back to avoid injury from the sparks. Needless to say, the unit is toast and I needed another grill capable of working indoor and outdoor for my townhouse. Please be careful, a careless moment could cause injury.

Would not reorder or recommend this grill to anyone
Would not reorder or recommend this grill to anyone. The grill itself is ok, but the stand that the grill sits on is a piece of junk. I had one of these grills several years ago and the quality back then was superior. This one is wobbly and you can't secure the grill to the stand so if you pick up the grill to move it, you have to pick it up by the stand itself and hope the thing doesn't tip over while you move it.

I love this little grill.
I opted for an electric grill because I dislike dealing with bottles of gas and I'm not a fan of charcoal broiled food. It took me only a few minutes to put this grill together. I plugged it in, and it heated up quickly. It has 5 heat settings, including one for keeping food warm. I have roasted a whole chicken in it, cooked chops, baked potatoes and even roasted asparagus. It is a breeze to clean. Just pop one support bracket and the whole top lifts off for cleaning. It has a nonstick finish so it cleans easily, but you have to be careful to not scratch it while cooking. It also has a removable drip pan for catching grease. A couple of things I don't like: the entire lid comes off rather than staying attached when opening it, so you need a small table to hold the lid while putting things on the grill or taking them off. And since there isn't any side extensions on this grill, you also need the table to hold utensils and other cooking items. It doesn't take up much room, and can be taken apart if you wish to store it in the winter. Since the entire top lifts off the pedestal stand, it can be used indoors, but I haven't tried that yet. I bought the Char-Broil Patio Caddie Grill Cover to keep it covered when not in use since I don't think it would be a good idea to expose it to rain.
