Laxmi Organic Toor Dal, Traditional Indian Split Yellow Peas - 2lb Bag

Bag had a hole in it and half the product had spilled out. It is already expensive for the size of product and I didn't feel safe using it. Couldn't get my money back or exchange for new one.

Taste this, i compared to 3 or 4 other types of yellow split pea that can be channa or moong or other type, this is toor dal, tastes better than other types. Rinse lots and soak before hand or yellow split pea can give gas.This one is really a favorite overall if you want yellow split peas.

It's a very nice product but it's price is too expensive compared to local stores. Because of COVID-19 we are afraid to go to local stores. Amazon must control the pricing.

Some dals take longer time to cook and have a smell (not bad smell), but a smell that usually we are not familiar with in a dal. This dal however is good overall.

Good quality, as described. This is made for “dal”, staple Indian food and, if you are not familiar with it, suggest looking into it before making the purchase.

I was disappointed with the flavor........Really wanted Masoor dal but that one was out of stock at the time, so I tried this as a substitute. Nowhere as delicious as Masoor, in my opinion.
