Trains: A Complete History Paperback – July 29, 2014

Got this for my dad who is a train buff and he loved it. Does not want to assemble the trains though, wants to keep it all in tact. He loves the colorful and detailed trains.

I bought this book because of my grandson's interest in trains. WOW, it was a BIG HIT on Christmas morning. The perforated paper parts are easy to remove from the printed page without further assistance; e.g., razor cutter, etc. Be advised, you will need a quick drying paper glue and patience. Yes, this book has helped my grandson practice patience because he wants the finished product to be right. All engines are printed on a single page with directions for assembly at the back of the book. Have some quality time with your young ones - buy this book.

I was mistaken to have bought this for a 4 year old who adores trains. If there is a 10 year old train lover out there, this book is for him or her. It is printed beautifully on heavy card stock but perforated so no scissors required. I love the idea that the history book remains intact after the assembly is done. I am building these train cars and they are not difficult. The gluing demands some wait time before we can play with them but they are charming.

Diversity and accuracy of simple models is amazing.

This book was great for our son - the punch out parts were easy enough for him to do it by himself andhe was able to construct them without our help.

Obsessed with trains great nephew loves this. A good 'something different' for him.

Hours of runs for both my kids! They can’t get enough of these books. We have the Car, Train and Plane ones!

These are great to put together and informative, filled with great info about trains.
