Did the job well
Worked as stated! Do your research Loctite have several similar products and one of those might work better?

Does what its suppose to do!
I do wish they had smaller bottles. Needed this for a one time use thing. By the time I'll need it again, it will be expired. But otherwise, it worked securing a bearing onto it's shaft!

Turned my ruined press fit from a slip fit to a permanent fit
The gear on my Sherline threading attachment stripped out the press fit on the shaft somehow. I put this stuff on the joint, put it in a food dehydrator for a day or two to cure it faster with the low heat (some technical document I found about this stuff indicated it might take an entire week to reach full strength on aluminum otherwise), and presto my gear is stuck to the shaft. Haven't pushed this stuff to the point of failure, but it did hold up to a decent bit of cranking torque from my hand, with less than .001" clearance between steel shaft and aluminum hole. Who needs press fit tolerances when you can make slip fit tolerances and glue it together?f

Worth waiting for?
It came from India. What was I thinking? It took like 2 months. Must read the descriptions better next time. Otherwise, it seems to be actual Loctite 609.

Genuine Locktite 609. Solution if you wanted to prevent squeaking sound and free play from crankarm to direct mount (spider). The compound will fill up the gap in between two component and bond it together after a day of cure time.
