I am impressed with this step ladder. It is great quality, solid and stable. The main ladder is metal and the steps are plastic as shown in the picture. The steps are a good size and I don't feel like my feet are going to slip on them. This makes me feel safe when using the ladder. The ladder folds up easily and isn't too heavy to move around. The height is just right for jobs around the house. The price is good for the quality of the stepladder. Overall a good solid choice.

Standing at 105cm tall when folded and the top step at 65cm, the step ladder is really useful fir around the house. The top step and even 2nd step allows to reach top most shelves without having to stretch to reach as well as helping to clean dust on top of cupboards and top shelves and windows. The spread of the step ladder is good such that you are well balanced on the stepladder and it does not sway in any manner. The metal construction of the legs is sturdy as are the steps which are made of a hard plastic and have strong supports in the rear of them. When opened the top step has a clasp which hooks into the metal frame which keeps the stepladder firmly open and can only be closed and collapsed if you release the clasp. There is a foam handle at the top for comfortable carrying of the step ladder, but it is not heavy. There is also a sticker instructions on guidance as how not to use and how to use the step ladder attached to it. The semi soft yet firm feet are good and resilient and dont slip, even on kitchen tiles. Overall a great safe and sturdy step ladder for all around the house.

Supplied in a sturdy box and a plastic bag, getting it out of the box could be a two man job as it's packed pretty tightly! This is a sturdy tubular steel construction with heavy duty plastic steps, heavy duty pressed rivet hinges and a neat little locking system built into the top step. The steps are 320mm wide and 160mm deep, 260mm deep for the top step. These are surprisingly heavy at around 4.5kg, so maybe not suited to older or infirm users. The mechanism is also quite stiff to operate/open. The manufacturer claims these are made to BS EN 14183, although the supplied instructions sheet and packaging include no CE marking or declaration of conformance, so I would take the 150kg rating with a huge pinch of salt. This is at odds with the Amazon advert description which states these will hold 800lbs. That aside, these are sturdy and stable in use, but be aware that, if using the top step, the top bar will press into your shins and it doesn't feel very secure up there - an extended set of side rails and a top bar which rests on the thighs would be far more secure. With those caveats out of the way, these appear to be a solid and serviceable set of folding steps for light use around the house. Priced at £46.99 at time of review they represent pretty good value compared to retail park offerings if you can manage the weight.

I was fully expecting this ladder to be of questionable construction and safety, but I'd say this is better made and more stable than most of the name-brand ladders I've had and have. The locking top step is a nice safety feature that appears to be well-engineered. It's easy to lock/unlock with a smooth action. The welded joins are reasonably neat; effort has been made to file down any rough or messy welds; though these could be better. The powder-coated grey finish is more of a satin/matte than gloss and appears to be durable. There are no obvious defects in the finish. The plastic steps are rigid with no obvious flex and the moulded-in textured/patterned surface provides adequate grip. It's a little ornate to my tastes but a pleasing enough design. The colour matching between the plastic moulded parts, foam grip and painted metal is weirdly good; giving everything a uniform and premium look. Once opened there's no wobble and I feel confident in my footing on this ladder. The three-step version I have makes for a great household utility ladder (for cleaning, painting, etc). It folds away compactly, suitable for under-stairs storage.

I’m pleased with this 3 step folding ladder. It’s perfect for my needs and has already made a lot of jobs around the house much easier. It feels very sturdy thanks to the steel frame, and the wide textured steps give you good grip when climbing. I like that it has a foam handrail and a proper locking mechanism, so once it’s open it feels secure. There’s also a button that needs to be pressed to release it before folding, which is a nice safety feature. We have quite high cupboards in our kitchen that my wife normally struggles to reach, but she can easily get to them now with this ladder. It’s also great for those hard-to-reach spots like cleaning near the ceiling, putting up decorations or decorating. Another thing I like is how stable it feels on both hard floors and carpet. Even though it’s solid, it’s still lightweight enough to move around easily and when folded it’s really slim so it can be tucked behind a door or stored away without taking up too much space. Overall, a really practical and well-made step ladder that’s been very useful around the house.

I ordered the four step version of this step ladder and it has been a very useful addition to our home. I am on the heavier side, so stability and weight capacity were important to me. This ladder supports my weight comfortably and feels sturdy, even when standing near the top step. The steel frame feels strong and solid, and there is very little wobble when it is set up on a flat surface. The wide anti slip pedals give plenty of room for your whole foot, which makes a big difference compared to narrow step ladders. The rubber feet grip well on hardwood and tile floors and help prevent sliding. I was worried about the plastic steps, but they are sturdy and able to hold my weight without flexing. The four step height is perfect for reaching my higher kitchen cabinets and ceiling fixtures. I no longer have to stretch awkwardly or drag out a full size ladder for simple indoor tasks. The handrail at the top adds extra confidence when climbing up and down. It also has a safety lock that engages when the ladder is fully open, so it will not collapse unexpectedly while you are moving it. Another big plus is how compact it is when folded. It folds up very slim and fits easily into my narrow broom closet without any issues. It comes fully assembled, so you just unfold it and lock it into place. Attention, contrairement à ce que le titre pourrait laisser supposer, il s’agit bien de 1 escabeau à 2 marches et non pas de 2 escabeaux ! En dehors de cette petite erreur, on a un très bel escabeau d’intérieur qui est vraiment qualitatif et permettra d’accéder en toute sécurité aux armoires les plus hautes de notre logement. La qualité de fabrication est très bonne avec un ensemble solide qui ne bouge pas une fois déplié, un mécanisme de sécurité avec une poignée jaune de déblocage simple d’emploi qu’on ne risque pas de débloquer accidentellement et des patins antidérapants qui font parfaitement l’affaire. Les marches sont également texturées avec un quadrillage qui rappelle certains tissus et qui améliore l’accroche des pieds. La barre en haut destinée au transport est entourée de mousse épaisse qui rend la manipulation et l’utilisation plus agréable et sécuritaire, les tibias pouvant s’appuyer dessus sans douleur. C’est vraiment un bon produit qui offre de bonnes sécurités (une étiquette d’avertissements claire reprend d’ailleurs les consignes d’utilisation avec les pictogrammes très lisibles sur un des montants). Une fois plié, l’ensemble est vraiment fin et ne laisse rien dépasser, ce qui simplifie le rangement. Le tarif me semble imbattable pour un accessoire de cette qualité. Allez, si j’avais un reproche à faire, c’est que la taille est un peu petite. J’ai des plafonds et certains meubles très hauts, deux marches ça fait un peu léger, j’aurais bien aimé exactement le même modèle avec trois marches. Mais en dehors de ça, c’est un sans faute.
