Say It Right in Dutch: The Fastest Way to Correct Pronunciation (Say It Right! Series)

Excellent
Lets face it, if you are out of collage, you''ll never sound like a native speaker, and you'll always have an American accent but this book is great to try to help. The pronounciation guide is great and easy to understand. One will speak a new language very slowly and 'properly', but this book help with pronunciation. Kind of like our dijueetyet (di-jew-eat-yet, or, did you eat yet?), all native language speakers use speedy ways to say things that we are unlikely to learn. Learn at least 'please' and 'thank you'. I suggest this book, would buy again, and hope this helps someone.

Clever and helpful
A wonderful little book for those who want to learn a bit of Dutch before going to visit the country. The system the author devised to help with the pronunciation is very clever and helpful, as are his choices of subjects and possible situations.

An o.k. place to start but very limited
I think I would be better off learning the international phonetic script and using that rather than the adapted script used in the book. There are a few basic phrases in the book but I was hoping for a phonetic translation of key vowels and consonants and their clusters.
