Spathcocks a chicken neatly in seconds. Sharp enough to quarter into pieces. Really pleased with this purchase. Comfortable to use , quite hefty and worth the investment.

These are brilliant and do exactly what they say they'll do. I knocked 1 * off as they are really heavy and hurt my hand too much. If you've got arthritic fingers, its going to hurt. Unless you buy them and get someone else to do the cutting ;)

A few of the pictures label it as stainless steel blades. In the small print it is Sk5 carbon steel!! Wish they'd get their descriptions accurate, very misleading. Ive returned mine unopened, once I realised not Stainless steel as I wanted for food use. Waste of everyone's time.

Tiene muy buena pinta pero en tres usos se ha ido el tornillo que permite cerrarla… muy decepcionada y al usarla muy poco me ha ocurrido cuando no puedo devolverla

C'est du lourd ,la tenue en main est excellente ,ça coupe sérieusement et sans hésitation ,les os de poulets ainsi que la carcasse . c'est net ,y'a pas de petits bouts d'os qui s'éparpillent dans la nourriture attention au lavage à la main = ça poupe les éponges et les doigts très pratique pour ouvrir un gros homard ou une langouste ,la chair n'est pas abimée ....... si vous êtes précautionneux ,évidemment bien que ce ne soit pas fait pour ,ça coupe même mes médaillons métalliques de garantie qualité de certaines denrées attention aux poches de tabliers ,c'est lourd et ça a tendance à passer au travers
