UPDATE on last review:Since the last review, I have emailed the seller through Amazon twice asking for the WIDER second row inserts (which the seller instructs you to do in his listing description) to extend the width of the back rests and seat cushions so that they would go from 135 cm to 140+ cm - this would allow them to fit the second row seat in my 2008 Chevrolet Suburban.This makes 3 times that I have emailed the seller with this request WHICH THE SELLER HIMSELF SUGGESTED you do at THE TIME YOU PLACE YOUR ORIGINAL ORDER, WHICH I DID!!!With correct measurements!!!!Since the original order and email, I have emailed the seller TWO more times with he same request and measurements, YET I HAVE NEITHER RECEIVED THE INSERTS, NOR AN ANSWER TO ANY OF MY EMAILS.Therefore, I have dropped my review rating from 4 stars to to 2 stars, as the seller not only did not comply with his own instructions, he never acknowledged or responded to any of the emails I sent requesting help in an effort to get the second row seat covers to fit.I really wanted to give these Seat covers a five star rating, because they ARE well made and durable, and the front bucket seat covers did fit well, but the response from the seller has been non-existant. If you are not going to fulfill your promises, then don’t expect buyers to be happy with the purchase!!!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I only gave the these seats 4 stars as there were some problems which will be mentioned below.I searched long and hard for DURABLE seat covers for the front and back (second row seat only) for my 2008 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ.The black leather seats had begin to crack on the front seat bolsters and chlorine from the grandkids swim suits had discolored the leather in the second row seats, even though they sat on towels.After extensive searching of the NET, I finally found a set that appeared to be:* Durable* GOOD looking* Easy to install* would not slide or slipWell I have now installed the front seat covers, and they fit like a glove! They also look fantastic and seem to be fairly well engineered and extremely well sewn.PROS: *** Very nice looking - they match the faux wood grain in the dash, console and steering wheel cover. *** Seem very durable unlike the cheap crappy covers I purchased for $35 from a well know auto parts store that lasted less than a year!!!! *** Very easy to install if; you follow the Chinese color PHOTO instructions and not the English labeled drawings - (a photo is worth a few hundred poorly thought out and badly drawn and printed instructions!), AND have a second person Who can push the fairly substantial elastic bands through the back of the seats so they can be secured. *** Comfortable (!) texture and much cooler than leather in Summer and warmer in Winter here in the humid mid-west.CONS: *** I measured the second row seat of my suburban and it required a center console/middle seat section WIDER than normal. It was stated in the description that if you required a center section wider than standard, just let the seller know in a text or email that you require a larger center hook-n-loop seat section and zippered back section and they would provide it - which I did, with seat width But I only got the standard sections! which, when attached and centered, throws the seat backs and headrest covers off by about 2-3” when centered across the whole seat width. As a result, you can’t install the seat backs or head rest covers. However the horizontal seat sections worked well. *** The bolster sides of the front bucket seat do not go far enough down the sides of the seats to cover the bolster area, so the cracked leather still shows. The sides only go half way to the bottom of the seat sides. *** The seat cover bottoms still slide a bit, but those problems could be solved with a STRONG elastic strap going from the sides around the back of the seat. I plan to use rubber shelf or tool box drawer mats to reduce the slide, or perhaps a 1” wide brown nylon web belt with plastic buckles that will go across the bottom of the seat back in front, wrap around the seat on both sides and meet and clasp behind the seat back.I will contact the seller AGAIN and ask for a wider hook-n-loop and zippered center section for second row seats and I plan to do a follow up.All in all, these were as nice a set of seat covers I could expect to find for the price and I believe the will last much, much longer thanthe cheapies from the famous chain auto parts store!!!Stay tuned! I see if the problems are resolved!
