ThinOpticsRectangular Reading Glasses

Lightweight, worked better than expected.
Typically, I prefer cheap reading glasses, because I tend to break or loose them. That said, I really have enjoyed these glasses more than I could imagined. They are light weight. The frames haven't bent yet, and I've been using them for over a month, everyday.Because they are lightweight, I'm able to keep them on all the time. I can pull them forward just enough to look over them when they are not needed, and just push them back to read small text, check details or fine print when necessary.Obviously, everyones faces are different so your milage may very. They worked better than I expected and I liked them so much I'm ordering another pair. The price tag might be off putting to some people, I probably wouldn't have spent the money on them when I first started using reading glasses. After a few years of needing glasses, I can really appreciate the benefit these light weight glasses offer.

Horrific case that will break
The idea is brilliant, the execution is horrible. Well, the glasses are actually designed also brilliantly and light and thin. Where they missed the mark is in the horribly designed case. I have now bought my second pair and the case has broken within 24 hours each time. It is held together with two flimsy rods and two plastic holes that will crack at the slightest pressure. It is also way too big now to put on the back of your phone without making a gigantic. Mine also cannot really fit in well to where they missed the mark is in the horribly designed case. Save your money and wait for them to fix the flaws

Best glasses ever
The glasses fell so comfortable I hardly know I have them on. They work well for reading or computer work. Simply the best reading glasses I have ever had.

Psycho Susie tore them off my face with a ripping claw to the eyes and threw the against the wall.
Sounds tough and yes they are. Susie is my 45 pound purebred board collie that has so much energy and is fast as lightening. OK, I got my Amazon package and opened it to find this light weight readers with a built in nose guard which I need because I train hard to handle dogs. Any who I put them on just as Susie's owner arrived at my house for a training session. They cost some coin so I wasn't sure I wanted to try them against this force from hell, Susie. My wife let her in the house before I was ready and she found me. As she lunched herself at my unsuspecting sitting position frame, she hit me before I could react, silently, flatted me (165 lbs.) and proceeded to rip the glasses off my face with her paw and sent them flying against the wall. I thought well maybe, they hit hard. Got my girl settled down and picked them up, put them on my face. Not a mark, feel great, look good and can stand a direct hit from Susie. I am most impressed and will be buying another pair if she finally does these in. 5 tough stars for the slims.

Very Good, But . . .
I've been a ThinOptics fan since I attached the clip-on style to the back of my cell phone. That meant I always had readers available for looking at a restaurant's menu or reading small type on my phone. The only negatives were that the glasses were not comfortable for long use and it made the wireless charging on my phone a little wonky. It didn't work at all on some chargers and you had to position it just right on others. That's why I was glad to see the new full sized readers in a magnetic case come out. These lightweight readers are VERY light and comfortable. The case is thin and holds the glasses in perfect position. While it's not easy to open the case (the previous ones just slid out and was held by friction), it is not a deal-breaker. The big issue is the magnet that holds it to the phone. Apparently, wireless charging takes place through a glass back on the phone. Accordingly, the case does not adhere via magnet very well. In fact, it barely holds on to the case.Lastly, the case is very large and covers the camera of my Note 8. I wasn't too concerned about that because I could slide the case off my phone before taking a picture. Of course, if you have to adhere the case with double-sided tape, the camera would be permanently blocked.Other than that, the glasses are great. If you have a phone with a metal back or want to adhere it to something else, it will be great. I'm going to carry it in my pocket next to my wallet. While it's not as convenient as having it permanently attached to my phone, it is more comfortable to use.

Not a great value
My glasses arrived with a crushed packaging as it was delivered in an envelope. The glasses themselves have very short temples, the nose bridge is hard and rather sharp, the plastic lenses are clear no coatings whatsoever and to my surprise the reading strength of the lens is etched in one plastic lens at the top and the other is etched with product branding. Both etchings are VERY APPARENT even without glasses. The readers are definitely thin, and that’s where the pleasure ended for me especially at the $51.00 delivered price tag.

Best Reading Glasses that I Ever Owned
Light, clear, compact, and functional. It is so slim, almost unbelievable. I bought the round frame, and I am thinking of buying the rectangular frame as a backup.

Glasses to take with you anywhere!
I lost a pair of reading glasses while shopping- probably bending to pick up something low down, and realised how much you need your readers when you don't have them anymore! Glasses in a case are a big lump in your pocket! These are so thin you can pop them in a shirt pocket and no one would notice. I can have them with me always for reading the ridiculous small print on instructions or jar labels or perhaps a menu etc.... I love the look on peoples faces when I bring out the super thin case as if from nowhere, unfold these glasses and put them on.Limited range of frame styles but happy with my choice, the prescription is fine as is the fit. The frames are springy and can bend to adjust and feel light as a feather when on. Very happy with my purchase.

Easy to carry, very slim magnetic case.
As readers they work well, the bonus is that their easily slip into a pocket. They seem a little expensive but you get a good deal for your money as they are good quality. I’ve had cheap readers and they fall apart quite readily. I’ve had expensive designer ones and end up losing them. These are good value compared to many. The case is ultra slim and magnetic. Quite ingenious.
