Good addition to my SDS-plus bit selection
bought this for cutting drop rod holes for double drive gates. Much cleaner than using a demo-hammer to open up the concrete: looks much more professional. Would have prefered a set screw to retain the guide bit, but the provided release wedge works for clearing the bit for replacement. Problem being, not many sellers sell the tapered bits these days.

Broke 3 of five teeth trying to cut through cider block.
Bought this to drill a 3.25 in hole through both sides of a cinder block wall. After only cutting for about 3 min i noticed it easily binding in the hole. Pulled it out and two of the five teeth had broken off. I only had a short distance to go to get through one side of the block. I managed tho get through with three teeth. Mind you that if I got even slightly off perpendicular it would bind and rip my drill out of my hand. I drilled a pot hole through the outer side of the block and tried as carefully as possible to cut the remaining outer side of the block. Going very slowly. About one quarter of the way through it bound again. I pulled out the blade an a third tooth was gone. This ended my use of the blade and finished the hole with a hammer and chisel. Fortunately the pipe being installed through the hole had a large decorative cover to hide the chisel mess.

So far, good.
I got this to cut slightly larger than 4" holes in concrete for the purposes of installing 4" radon fan piping into basement floors. You want a hole that's a little bigger than the pipe in case the angle isn't perfect or for whatever reason...you can always fill it in with either mortar or construction adhesive or epoxy or whatever later on. Holding it in my hand, it looks pretty good, I've got a few diamond cutters around here and this doesn't look any worse than any of the others I own, but of course the test will be 4 or 5 holes down the line, to see if it's still cutting. Right now, I give it 4 stars...if, after some use, it seems to be holding up, I may raise it to 5, or lower it if it seems to be wearing out on me. My general use will be wet, not only to keep the tool cool but to keep dust down, so it will be a best case scenario but we'll see what we see.

Worked for Quartz countertop
This worked on a quartz breakfast bar that needed two holes for wiring grommets. I can't speak to long term durability, but it got the job done for this homeowner.

pretty good product
This thing cut through 1 backer board 1/2 inch thick and 1/2 inch tile and 2 inches of thinset as well as grout.

Unit failed
Used one for drilling 3" deep cores in a concrete wall. Broke at the 4th core. Might be ok for light duty but don't count on it.
