6cm Pink Bubble Squishy Cube Slow Rising Fidget Toy

Total rubbish. The thing burst within 24 hours. For something that is designed to be squeezed, I was hoping it would last longer than a day. Avoid.

Picked this up more out of curiosity than anything, but it’s actually turned into one of those little things that’s always knocking about the house. It’s just a soft cube you can squeeze, nothing complicated, but it’s oddly satisfying. Kids have been messing about with it, and I’ve caught myself using it as well without even thinking. Feels nice in the hand, soft but not too flimsy, and it goes back to shape fine after squeezing it. Good for keeping hands busy, whether it’s kids fidgeting or you just sat watching telly. Only thing is it’s one of those things that can go missing easily. Small enough to disappear down the side of the sofa. Overall, simple but does what it’s meant to. Cheap, a bit of fun, and surprisingly useful.

This cube is the perfect anti stress toy for both kids and to be honest even adults. The size is pretty good to hold it in one hand, but my favourite thing to do is it to squeeze it between two hands and watch it slowly go back to its original shape. It doesn't matter how much you squeeze it, ultimately you're only squeezing this slime-like material inside but the outer cube shell will make it so that the real shape is kept. Quite clever if you ask me! I like the colour, it reminds me of honey, but I just wish the material didn't catch so much dust/hair or whatever there will be on top of the surface where you leave it. I have to wash it at least once a day just to keep it clean.

Is this UK regulated? It has a strong smell of chemicals?

Got it out the packet and the smell was very strong-it smelt like it would of done at the warehouse. However the smell does wear of the more you play with it but then it now has mostly air in the balls that used to have squishy in. It is now mostly air. Fine depends if you get lucky I did not

This matte squishy cube is easily one of the nicest tactile toys I’ve used. The bobbled surface feels great, soft but structured, and the texture genuinely does resemble a cat’s toe beans (which my son immediately clocked and now I can’t un-feel). It’s matte rather than glossy, so it doesn’t feel sticky or sweaty in your hand like some gel-style squishies do. Seems to not attract as much fluff for this too. The resistance is where this really stands out. It has a slow, controlled deform, you can really sink into it, and then it gradually creeps back to shape over several seconds instead of instantly rebounding. If you prefer rapid, snappy fidget toys, this won’t be your thing. But if you like slow, grounding pressure and something you can deliberately squeeze and hold, this is excellent. I could see this being handy for exercising hands (pun intended) It’s solid all the way through (no liquid core), which makes it feel more durable and far less likely to split or leak over time. That alone makes it more reassuring for regular use. There’s no strange chemical smell either, which is surprisingly rare for these things. The colour is bold and fun, and the packaging is refreshingly simple, recyclable card box, no plastic filler or unnecessary nonsense. The only downside is price. At £9.99 it feels slightly premium for a single squishy, especially compared to multi-packs. That said, the tactile quality is noticeably better than most cheaper, hollow or gel-filled alternatives. You’re paying for feel and build rather than quantity. Overall, this is one of my favourite squishies I’ve tried. Slightly pricey, but genuinely satisfying and feels built to last.
