Has anyone use this to detect an Alien presence, in theory wouldn't a reptilian species have a much different thermal image than a human thermal image

Many people are unaware that if you ask Alexa the population of any city or country on Earth, she will give you the answer. If you ask her how many humans live there you will get a significantly lower number. Just saying. Not sure how that relates to Reptilians, though recently many important people, including world leaders, keep mentioning living under Draconian rules or that these are Draconian times. The film "THEY LIVE" is a fun movie to watch, but it's important to realize that many aspects of almost every mentionable Sci-fi movie made in the past fifty years, especially since Roswell, has come true in one way or another or will very soon. Hell, im getting a food replicator this X-mas and communicaters on Star Trek were basically just walkie talkies. Take "2001 a Space Oddyssy" for example. That Movie becoming reality seemed unreachable in ones lifetime or even impossible to most people when it was released in what,1979? Well it isn't now. And it wasn't then. Anything is possible. Everyone should know now that UFO's are absolutely real. It's been disclosed in one way or another by every country in the world. America was last in line and there's much more is to come. Someone or some thing of an alien nature is driving these crafts, and its not Mexicans'. You can take that to the bank!...... Humans ^!^

I'm into bird photography. Would this thermal imager help me locate a bird in a tree 100 feet away?

if ur looking for birds (say at least a dove size, not like a hummingbird), it is good, but make sure you get the non-XR version, the XR has a real narrow view, could help you see a car or person-like-size object from say 150 yards, the standard one is more likely be using on heat loss or in door use. Since you only use it from 100 ft, its just like a in door use.I got the XR and the non XR, and will soon return the XR because for the resolution, it is not really effective from distance, was thinking use the XR version for wild life finding, which require capability to see a fox from 100 yards.FYI, you will really have to know what weather you will take it our, if it is freezing cold, they will work wonderfully, but during summer and looking for a bird.... oh man the bird needs to be a Albatross size plus within 30 ft.

Does this find water leaks/pipe breakages inside a wall?

For WALLS, when water leaks it often makes the sheet rock/plaster (older homes) damp and the thermal image in a warmed area (room temperature) shows a lower temperature where dampness is due to localized surface cooling. If you have a blocked drain pipe, and there is a temperature difference, you will see it - a few degrees is all you need to show something. Warm water flowing in a cool drain pipe will warm the pipe on the underside first then spread along the walls towards the top. If there is a partial clog you can often see wide/narrow warm point before/after the clog. I've used this on both metal and plastic horizontal drains, leaks in walls 9to show how much sheet rock needs to be replaced as it WILL mildew if left for >48 Hours.

Why is the Seek Thermal more expensive on Amazon than the $199 price on Seek Thermal's website?

Possibly from a 3rd party seller trying to gouge you, but seek sells it also on Amazon. When I bought it, it was $250 for my Type C version
