Victor M383 Fly Magnet Bait, 3 Pack, 9 Packets

This is my second year using this and they work very well! The fly population is no longer a problem.Easy to set up and convenient. The flies are attracted to this bait almost immediately. Smells absolutely disgusting and I hate emptying the containers full of dead flies,maggots and fly chum, but it is worth it.I do leave some muck when making a new batch to get a head start.

I've tried lots of them, and this is the most powerful as far as attraction goes. They even work when it's cool out, which is amazing. I have side by side tested them against several others and these are the best. Because they stink, horribly. Like makes you want to vomit when you get a whiff of it. Thus the flies come a running and don't want to leave.

the only bad thing is all the flies from the whole neighborhood wood come on your property you would have hundreds of them but it would kill them all but than you would have all those to emty out of containers I stopped using them

This bug traps are like the hottest disco in town for flies. I can't believe how much of an impact they are making in my house this summer. I have 6 of these traps all over the yard and they fill up with thousands of flies every week or 10 days. It stinks and is gross emptying them, but my house had dozens of flies a day last year that I was running around killing. This year, if I've had half a dozen all summer, that's all. And the fruit flies that have also been a huge problem in the past are down by better than 90 %. They stink, they are gross, but put them down wind from you outside and you'll be amazed at how effective they are.

This stuffs attracts flies like crazy. I get at least 1 bottle a week filled with flies. I use 1/2 packet per bottle but the odor lingers a long time. I have an empty bottle that I haven't used since last year. I put it outside on the ground and without anything in it, dry, with odor from about a year ago, the flies are going in and can't get out. I added some water to drown them so realized it's absolutely not necessary to use an entire packet every time. Go with 1/2 packet and save some $$$. When it's time to empty a bottle, use a gallon ziplock baggie and don't put it in the kitchen trash or you'll regret it.
