Nice planner, but I wish it was printed on better paper
I bought this for my Wiccan sister. She begged me for the planner for Christmas so I bought it for her. She really likes it, but we both agree that we wish it was printed on a nicer quality, sturdier paper. I went back and read reviews and it sounds like the planners used to be printed on better paper, so I"m hoping for the next year's planner that the author goes back to that. The ring binder is nice. Its plastic, but its smooth and the papers slide nicely along it. The paper is thin enough that markers of any kind will bleed through. And coloring on the paper--even lightly--will make the paper wilt and wrinkle. Don't press too hard because you'll leave deep impressions into the next ten pages below. But if you don't mind having a "well loved" and "messy" planner by the end of the year, then these things won't bother you. If that's something that's going to drive you crazy, then I'd say keep looking for another planner. All that aside, this planner is filled with some fun facts and information, and other witchy tidbits that my sister loves. Overall, I'm glad I got it for her and she really loves the planner--she takes it with her everywhere.

Favorite planner so far!
I have been using this planner since the beginning of the year and I have to say, it has been the best planner I think I've ever used! I really love the layout; the standard month-at-a-glance and the lined individual days of the week that follow. I also really like all the useful information regarding the Wheel of the Year, astrology, the moon phases, etc. It's very easy to understand and makes it easy to keep up with what's happening. There is also SO much to color in if that's a hobby of yours. I've done a few pages, but honestly the content is what I'm more interested, however it's nice to know I can go back and add color to the pages whenever I want to.It DOES mention in the planner itself that since the pages are double-sided, color pencils or crayons are recommended, since markers will bleed. I normally write my notes in pencil, but I've used a ball point pen and it was fine. I've also tried my Sharpie Pen and noticed it only shown through a bit if I was heavy-handed as I wrote with it.

Magical
Amy’s works are absolutely perfect. Every single detail feels magical and special. Even her simple composition book was the first notebook I filled out all the way in years since high school. I just constantly felt inspired to write in it. Same goes for this planner. Never been a coloring book kind of gal but I ended up gifting my typical “Llewelyn” witch planner for this. Because of her, I have ended 2018 and started 2019 on a positive note. Any bad day at work, I come home and color in this and write in my goals and dreams, to do lists, etc. only criticism is next year I would gladly pay more money for better paper. I got the more expensive spiral bound and the pages are turning at the ends from use. I don’t really care about things like that but I preferred the paper used in her composition journal. That doesn’t deserve a lack of star though just a suggestion for next year if she reads this and brings this up with whoever manufactures the books. Perfect otherwise! Thank you Amy for the inspiration tool!

This wonderful planner needs better planning!
First off, let me be clear...I LOVE this woman's work. I have gleefully used her magical 2018 planner to chart a better life for myself. Everyone who has seen it has commented on how beautiful it is...I had a blast coloring it in and then writing in my observations on each and every page. I hope Ms. Cesari keeps making these! However....The 2019 planner was SUCH a disappointment when it arrived. No spiral binding! The bound version (the only version available when I ordered) has the wonderful paper quality, and of course, the fun drawings and supportive writings of the previous planner. But the binding is NOT up to daily use. I have just completed coloring in the entire planner...getting it ready to use for the 2019 year...and it has already fallen apart! Damn!A friend noted that later in 2018 a spiral version of the 2019 planner became available and ordered it. However, this must have been a rush job, as this version greatly suffers from very poor paper quality. Since we actually use and handle these planners, now we are both stuck! Neither planner is up to snuff. Please, please, if this delightful magical planner is to continue...PLAN FOR IT BETTER! I am holding mine together with giant clips, and my friend can use only light pencil in hers as the paper bleeds through. Both are not very useful for actual planner usage.

Bang for your buck!
Fun, dual purpose, and witchy! What more could you ask for? I'm always looking for a planner that appeals to me personally. The plain, black datebooks just won't do. This was the perfect opportunity to personalize a planner myself. It contains useful information on moon phases, retrogrades, seasons and ideas for celebrating/observing as well. It's a book, day planner, and coloring book all in one! I don't know what they coated the front cover with, but I love the almost rubbery feel to it!If you're someone that gets bored easily, the coloring portion may not be for you. A lot of the same images appear copy and pasted into new coloring images. I didn't mind because it gave me a challenge and how to make it look different yet provided unity throughout the book.I hope Amy keeps these coming. This is my first date book of hers. I plan on continuing to purchase for years to come!

Great for beginners!
I love this planner! Not only does it contain some great tips for newbies (like myself) but the coloring aspect keeps me coming back for more! I actually remember to use it and am more motivated to write in it (mostly so I can color the pages for that week). I also really love all the astrological dates for holidays (as well as the set dates), the daily moon phases, and the various spells and info littered throughout the planner. It's got it all! I'll more than likely be purchasing one again next year.Based on other reviews, I did opt for the spiral binding and it has been worth it so far. The pages are pretty thin. I thankfully haven't ripped any yet, but that's definitely something I try to avoid when writing or coloring in it. I would also recommend either color pencil or crayon as markers will bleed through the page.

Love this journal!!
Fantastic little journal- just the right size for colouring, with good thickness paper, probably better suited to coloured pencils. Provides enough space for brief notes each day, rather than full page journaling, and I'm going to use mine to keep track of tarot "Card of the day", but could equally well be used to record other personal stats. A little gem!
