ATOPLEE Metric Thread Tap, M10 HSS Right Hand Thread Tap (M10x1.0)

Used on high carbon steel with perfect results.

i fiolishly damaged a couple of threads on my VW T5 when i was changing driveshafts, wheel bearings etc.used this tap and it worked a treat .i used a shifter on my tap.just remember to make sure it is going in square , and keep doing a half tirn back for every fill turn in , to clear any swarf. also back turn if it gets tight to turn .all the best .

It saved me replacing my bike rear shock. The thread was worn and I was thorn between spending £450 for a new one or finding a solution to repair the thread. This did the job.

Garage had crossed threaded wheel nuts using impact socket. This tool saved me over £100 on new wheel hubs. Take your time half turn clockwise then quater turn anticlockwise. Keep it oiled and remove completely now and again to get metal shavings out.

Only bought this for chasing out a motorcycle spark plug thread which it did with no problem
