Ithe ink does not smear or run. If you like fine lines writing tool this is a good choice. Review: This was a great buy! I'll definitely buy again when I run out with won't be for a long while! I write and sign for my job all throughout the day. Same size gel cartridge lasts me a week. 1 month and I'm still not 1/4 through one of these cartridges. The tip is precise and the ink drys quick.

I thought I liked the thinnest pen tips I could find. Turns out .5 is a bit too fine for me. They write OK, but seem a bit scratchy on paper (like writing with a needle). I'll definitely re-buy in the future, but next time will go with the .7 size.
