Well Made
Heavy. Interior solid cast aluminum thick metal lid. Simple controls. Fast heating. I bought mostly for melting left over jewelers wax to re-use, and a bit of dapping. Money saving device, and will save cash by reusing clean wax.

It melts the dop wax and heats the rocks, what more do you want?
ITs a bit slower than the lapidary dop pots, but it's so much cheaper that I dont care. It gets the job done.

MÁS O MENOS
Funciona. Pero se deteriora rápido sus componentes. El encendido, el recubrimiento refractario. Lo tenemos directo. Porque si lo apagamos del botón de encendido, no vuelve a prender

Hot but cheap
It heats up fast and melts dop wax. But, the whole box gets very hot even the heat dial. First use and the "Teflon" coating came off the bowl surface as i stirred my wax with a soft wooden tool, now my wax is full of metallic stuff. I'm giving them another chance, it's easy enough to do an exchange with Amazon, so I'm hoping this is just a defect. We'll see. Edit: I got the replacement, and after melting wax and being hot for 10 minutes or so the nostick coating comes right off the surface with a wood dowel, again. I wanted to save a few bucks with this as a lapidary tool, but it's probably not worth it.
