McAfee Total Protection - 1 PC, 3 Years (CD)

This was my second time buying the annual subscription for my laptop and it worked without a problem and the best thing was i initially had around 20 days left from my previous year subscription and instead of replacing it with a 365 day McAfee added it to my leftover 20 days as you can see in the provided image. The software is great and easy to use and total protection means i can use it on any of my phones(i use it for all 5 of my family's phones) and it keeps your system safe i personally have found three malicious viruses which the software deleted. The true key software which comes with the Total protection plan is one of my favorites i use it to store all my passwords as google's password manager didn't autofill my passwords half the time for some reason. All in all a great Software i got it(annual subscription 1 device) for 611rs which is a good deal.

Very good product, have been using it since last 5 years and my laptop never got infected. Also doesn't slow down your PC which is great. In comparison to other anti virus products (symantec Norton, Kaspersky etc) this is a far more superior product. Very easy install but remember to update the product to latest version.

The update gets stuck / does not update at times. Maybe a problem with my installation or network connection. Product is as advertised, we get one CD and a product key for activating the license. My laptop did not have a CD drive, so downloaded the software from McAfee site, got three month trial period+the three years for this license ! It is an Intel product and is probably second only to Kaspersky, which I have been using for about 6 years now. Wanted a fourth licence, hence bought this.

This worked very well for me. Initially I was not able to install the software after few attempts. Then I called up McAfee call centre and to my utter surprise they installed the software through remote support just in few minutes. Now McAfee works very well. Actually I had become sceptical about buying online after few horror reviews of this product on Amazon but then I called Amazon call centre where they assured me that if the license key didn't work they will refund money. But all worked well.

The product installation becomes difficult when another version of old mcafee exists in your system. The softwares removes the old installable but doesnt stop. After restart also same pop up appears. To get rid of the error I had to install the trial version of total protection and remove the trial version with the licensed installable using the mcafee site. This way it works. Overall performance of the system is ok. Not great. May be security wise its good.

Faced lot of problems. First I was asked to remove earlier links related to McAfee and Norton Antivirus. One of the earlier Antiviruses were corporate version. Somehow this was achieved after lot of haggling. Thereafter, I was told by McAfee that some of the updates on my laptop are not current. I contacted local service center of Samsung; no help given. Contacted Samsung Customer Care on phone; no help. Then contacted Samsung Customer Care on line. They took charge of my laptop, sent some links, updated software and finally after full day of work and wait internet drive crashed. Now I do not know how to proceed and what to do?. Computer is now without internet, without antivirus and money is stuck. Will Amazon refund?

Hassle free download the software or install from DVD and enter the product key, without any issue it got accepted and working nice, the delivered to me within 24 hrs because the seller was Amazon itself, buy things on Amazon where Amazon itself is seller
