Spicer 3-3-5571X Slip Yoke Assembly

Bought to have on hand for when I get my driveshaft shortened, currently mine has a short yoke and only 1/4" of slip left and it makes pulling the shaft difficult and if I were to hit a bad bump and tires came off ground it would likely slam the transmission. These are supposed to be for the long shaft TH400s, my intermediate shaft did not have that long of splines to just make the swap without shortening, which was needed anyway.This would also work for a NP205 transfer case, it is close to same size I bought for that purpose a few years earlier..This product has quality splines and will not destroy your output shaft, I tried a cheaper brand once and the splines were nearly pointy and they would bind and not allow full travel on the shaft, so be leary of buying cheap alternatives...

I have a plumbing van with the infamous 4l80E with 700,000 miles! The yoke gave finally when I noticed the U joints just slid right in with my fingers and were so damaged they destroyed the yoke.
