The fence works by producing a wireless signal from the transmitter through the boundary wire.Your dog wears a collar receiver and is allowed to play freely in the boundary area. When your dog approaches the boundary wire, the collar receiver gives beeps and shocks. The closer the dog goes to the wire, the more intense the shock will be.It is very effective to train dogs back into the boundary area. Excellent for our Labrador!
We purchased the COVONO KD660B dog fence for our Labrador that is expected to be 55 lbs.It allows him run freely and safely within his boundaries,Great quality and customer service!

Easy to install & works great!
This fence is easy to install & works great! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the prong collars keep coming off. I tightened them as hard as possible but they still fall off rendering the fence useless. Going to order replacement prong collars & maybe super glue them on. I still recommend this fence, just be careful to check the prongs on your dogs' collar daily!

It is exactly what they say
I use it for my Doberman Pinscher who is an escape artist. So I needed something to keep him in the yard, but without having to tie him. This fence system solves my troubles.It works as expected and so far so good.

Didn’t work for our dogs.
My dogs still escape even while wearing the collars. They became too scared to go outside and once we did get them out there they wouldn’t move around much or actually pee/poop. Then after about 30mins outside they would figure out a way to climb our chain fence and get past the electric fence even though they would get shocked repeatedly.The company has great costumer service! They sent out emails about how to install the fence, how to charge the collars and were available to answer all concerns in a timely manner.Also, the wire is super easy to break. The orange flags are super flimsy and break. The wire is very stretchy as well.

It taked me 3 hours to install it and test it,it seems to work pretty well. The customer service is fantastic too,they answered my concerns quickly.Would highly recommend it.

We have a hyper German Shepard who loves to chase passersby.So my brother introduced the fence system to him.Now he knows the rules and we don’t have to worry about him anymore.So grateful for this product

Good fence for the price.
It’s a good fence for the price. If you just need to let you dig know where not to go this is it. It’s range is small, just a couple of feet, but it helped me to keep my dog from climbing over the fence.
