This is fantastic stuff! I tried a different fig jam just out of curiosity. I won't do that again. This is the best of the best!

I bought two different jars of fig preserves at the same time and this Dalmatia brand was far superior to the Bonne Maman brand....the Bonne Maman was not bad but had a lower ratio of figs to sugar and not as much flavor or texture. The Dalmatia brand was not overly sugary sweet and had a more concentrated figgy flavor than the lesser brand and had a nice amount of seeds....I generally don't like seeds in raspberry or blackberry preserves but the fig seeds were delicately crunchy and were not a problem in my teeth like other berry seeds in jams. I especially like the jam with cheese and crackers and have heard that it makes a nice spread on a turkey sandwich.

At $7.50 a jar it was about the same price as from any grocery. Robust, jammy with seed texture. Love it

Despite the heavy duty bubble wrap packaging, one jar's seal popped and left a sticky mess in the packaging. The other jar is in great shape with the seal still intact.

This fig jam is DELICIOUS. It’s not to sweet and it is great on English muffins or toast.
