I read a lot of reviews that complained about difficulty of assembly, and how people couldn't get the cams to lock, etc., but I decided to go ahead and make the purchase, as I had a suspicion, as with reviews for other products, that a lot of the "difficulty" could be chalked up to lack of knowledge/skill, or the use of improper tools for the job. My assembly experience was quite different, and went quite smoothly. I took my time, and it still only took about 20 minutes to put together. The cams did take some force to lock, but that assured me they would not come unlocked. I used an appropriately-sized flat-tip screwdriver on the cams for extra torque instead of a phillips, which in my experience, tends to slip out when trying to lock cams. Also, when installing the cam bolts, do not use a power drill, but instead, use an appropriately sized hand screwdriver, and pay attention to when they are flush with the tabletop. The nylon inserts are threaded, but because they are nylon, they will easily strip if over-tightened. If you take your time and DON'T USE POWER TOOLS, especially on the bolts for the cams, you should not have any issues assembling this. I am betting 95% of assembly issues are user error.As for the quality, the frame and side pieces are solid wood, the top and lower shelf are engineered wood, and for the price point, I would expect nothing more. The finish on all pieces was satisfactory, but especially on the top and shelf, and for my purposes (a bonsai table), it is perfect, if not a little too nice. Also, once assembled correctly, the table is very sturdy.Bottom line, these are great for the price and an excellent value. Be sure your skills are up to the assembly, and if not, get some help, but don't bash a perfectly acceptable product because of lack of experience and skill.

We needed a stand for the printer in our home office and this little table is perfect! It came so well packaged nothing short of dropping it from a plane could have damaged anything in the box. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and I had it put together in no time. I’d been looking at tables like this for $400 or more so to be able to get one this nice for less than $80 made it even better! I chose this one because s similar table got bad reviews for being difficult to assemble. This one went together quickly and easily and is sturdy and attractive. That’s why it gets five stars! Keep in mind that it’s a short table so it might not work next to a bed or sofa. But as a printer stand it’s perfect.

It looks nice and feels sturdy. One of the screw holes for the side support didn't align with the socket but when I flipped it around, it aligned on another side and I didn't need to drill it larger. One of the side panels also came cracked through but the manufacturer replaced it at no cost to me.I also immediately chipped the veneer on the top corner but that was my fault. If it was solid wood it would be easier to hide, though.Also, please note it is quite low, at knee height for me. That's perfect for my uses, because I wanted to put a printer on it, but it would be very low to use as a side table.

It looks nice and goes together very easy. The only problem is it is just too short . It is the same height as the seats on my chairs and sofa. It won't be arm height for anything. I would love it if it were taller. If it wasn't so hard to get back in the box. It would be going back. It still might. It is not practical for a lamp.

I ordered two of these, one was missing the Allen wrench, not a big deal but a little weird. One was also missing a small dowel, so I scrounged one up. So... quality control... slightly lacking but no deal breakers.Quality is decent, everything fit nicely, no issues with the finish. A little more brown than I was hoping, compared with some other furniture I have but I had a need for a very specific size and this was exactly what I needed.The cam locks are not the greatest as I think others have noticed. You can always use some wood glue if you want to permanently assemble the unit. The cam locks are just for the top which isn't going to fly off by itself anyway.No regrets and I don't expect any for my use case.
