Bought this Mifi. Router after researching similar items . As I have several TP-Link products I decided early on that whichever one I chose would be one of theirs. After further research I noticed that two versions fitted the specs at my price point. One was the M7350. And this one which was on offer at Amazon. I needed the unit to use in my touring caravan, both would have sufficed but this one had an advertised battery life of 10. Hours. And a revised graphic display plus it is a later model. In use it is very easy to set up which took about 5 minutes. The first thing I did was to change the default password and insert a P.A.Y.G. Sim Card. The unit found the network and displayed it on the screen within seconds. It is simplicity itself to operate very compact and sits on a shelf in the Caravan providing a WiFi signal for up to 10 gadgets. We only use 2. And it worked well. The range is very limited which makes it less likely to be hacked by adjacent units. I know that I could have tethered off my iPhone but that would have eaten into my data and battery use. All told I am very impressed as this now provides WiFi to our Caravan independently of any site supply and for ourselves who mostly use sites without either electricity let alone internet is perfect. Recharge is provided by a usb C. Cable from the same 12. Volt chargers as our phones and iPads use. Regarding the network provider choose carefully and either buy a no contract Sim and top up as required or, a data only sim. I’ve chosen Smarty and Giffgaff. Which operate on the two most available networks. Bearing in mind that for most of the year this unit won’t be required, but could be used in an emergency if your home router fails.

Bought this just over a month ago and initially it worked fine up until a week or so when the Wi-Fi connection to the actual TP Link itself became intermittent and dropping out all of the time. Contacted customer support as per the Amazon guidance and unfortunately there seem to be some misunderstanding of what the issue was, the person dealing with the issue seem to be thinking that the device was losing the Internet connection! I repeatedly told him/her that the problem was with the device not being able to maintain its Wi-Fi connection to either iPhone, iPad or laptop for any sustained period of time. Was given a few troubleshooting tips i.e. firmware update, replicating the APN from another device (TP Link Deco) so that it wouldn't lose the Internet connection, once again I told them it's not the Internet connection it's the Wi-Fi connection to the device, whoever is dealing with this on the other side of the phone/email seems to have a problem understanding the difference between Wi-Fi and mobile Internet connectivity, which isn't particularly helpful. I have since sent another email, a small video attached showing the Wi-Fi dropping off on my iPad continuously and have requested either a replacement or my money back. Two weeks into this now and still problem is unresolved, won't be buying again or recommending to anyone, too much time wasted. Bottom line: unreliable, virtually no consistent wifi connectivity, support seems to not know the difference between a wifi connection to the device and the device’s connection to the internet via a mobile network, either that or they can’t understand English.

I bought two different wifi and they never worked up to satisfaction, it actually got me angry as one of them refused to take it back and refund. I decided to buy TP-Link M7362 Portable WiFi 6 and it's working perfectly. I love it.

Has been running in my van continuously for 4 months had no issues, strong signal, good speeds ( depends on network i guess) the menu system is a bit 2010 old school, but overall a great buy

Bought to replace a very slow TP-Link M7000 MiFi unit being used in our static caravan. Speed has at least doubled and is far more stable. Easy set up and simple to configure. Nicely made with a useful led info screen. The app is also easy to use. The EE signal in our area is very poor but this unit has really made a difference. Very pleased and highly recommended.

We brought this to use abroad mainly when travelling and working. We tried it out in England and it performed brilliantly with a vodafone sim card. Really good wifi use etc. We then took it to spain and had no end of trouble in trying to get it to work. You had to make sure the settings were right in order to use it, but you need it to work on wifi in order to update the settings, which it wouldn't do as we were abroad and it wouldnt work until the settings were updated!!! However, that wasn't the only problem because we duly waited a few months til we were in the UK again, updated it as per the instructions (roaming enabled etc) but when we returned to spain, we had the same problem! We ended up, me on the phone to customer support in spain and my husband on the phone to them in the Uk (when he returned for a week) at the same time, and eventually someone somewhere doing something that enabled it to work! So, not an easy way to use wifi abroad. It does work, but make sure you speak to someone and get an absolute guarantee it is good to go before you go abroad if you need it abroad. Very frustrating indeed.....
