I love this little classic. The imagination in this is refreshing, yet simple enough my little enjoys the stories.

This was the first book I ever checked out in the library when I was a child. Now I get it for every baby shower that I go to. It’s an excellent book. It opens the imagination.

This was an impulse buy--I remember this story from when I was a kid. My granddaughters were coming for a visit--and I wanted to share this wonderful little story with them without paying the higher prices for a mint condition book store copy. This was perfect. The book felt read, not like some bookstore copy, cold and sterile. This was a read book. The copy was gently and loving used--it had the nostalgic feel of a book from my childhood. No marks, no ripped pages, nothing to distract from the story and those wonderful illustrations. Just a perfect artifact from my childhood. The girls loved the story and took the book home with them.

This may be the greatest children's book ever written. Without saying so, the text shows how vitally important is human imagination. In a prep school graduation speech, I told the seniors to pack in September their purple crayons.

I loved this book as a kid. Just got it to read to my grandson. Received on-time and no issues.

I mistook “hard” as toddler-friendly hard pages, like the last time I ordered. I was mistaken. Pages are paper. 😅

Delightful book. As described.

We came to know this book very late, but we brought it for our 4-years-old since then it has become his favorite. For fun, every time we read we choose a random color crayon, and most of the time we choose blue because it is his favorite color.

Got this on behalf of my MIL to gift to my son. They saw the movie together and wanted the book as a keepsake. A beautiful book with an important and wonderful message. Definitely a keeper.

Nothing beats reading a book from your childhood into your childrens childhood. It’s exactly as I remember it. Also the condition it arrived in? A bookworms dream because it was in mint pristine condition. Would absolutely buy it again if I needed to get this as a gift for someone else. Kids adore this book.
